Good news!

As y'all know, Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman was involved in a major car accident on Sunday.

The actor broke his elbow and arm, as well as injuring his shoulder.

He underwent surgery Monday evening, but, he's "doing well" - according to his PR rep.

Says the publicist:

"Morgan is doing well after his surgery last night [Monday] to reconnect nerves and repair damage in his left arm and hand. The surgery last night lasted four and a half hours. He's visiting with family this morning. As of this morning he's up and walking around and looking forward to his release in a few days."

He's up and walking. That's a great sign!!

    I have loved and respected Mr. Freeman since his Electric Company days (yes, I am that old lol)! I have always been assured that, if Morgan is in it, it's going to be a great movie….not to mention his Olympic ads (I would recognize his voice, anywhere…even in a commercial). My love, respect and best wishes are with him and his family!

    I was watching Wendy Williams today and supposedly the women in that car was his wife's best friend and allegedly for the last 20 years of his marriage more than his eyes wandered across the room… i.e. his ass was cheating on his wife
