More UCLA Snooping!

Celebs may want to stay away from UCLA for medical treatment.
It looks like the celeb snooping that went on at the University's medical center was pretty serious!
A new report says that more than 120 workers looked at celebrities' medical records and other personal information without permission between January 2004 and June 2006 — nearly double the number initially reported, according to a state report.
The report released Monday by the California Department of Public Health also showed that three UCLA Medical Center staffers continued to spy on records of a "well-known individual" after an April crackdown on snooping.
The report did not identify the celebrity.
State regulators blame the hospital for not taking adequate steps to maintain patient confidentiality.
A state director said, "What's startling to us is, as we get to a point where we feel we've addressed a specific complaint and a specific issue, we identify additional issues. It's very disturbing to see this."
Wonder if we'll be seeing anything new from the UCLA snoops in the tabloids?

Don't all these people HAVE to sign confidentiality agreements when working in a hospital??? I did.
They should all get sued… they are there to help ppl not worsen the situation.
Shouldn't doctors, nurses, anyone in a hospital environment have more sense.

This is exactly what is wrong with having Electronic Medical Records!! Nothing is personal anymore!
Not really the States fault if the hospital starts getting rid of the roaches who would steal someone's medical records. Fire anyone caught that should but a stop to it, even if it is physcians guilty. Really a rotten sort of person who would sell someone's information.

Darlin'….you have absolutely no justification, to call into question, another persons vocabulary skills. Hell, you can't even type in a 'yo' before the 'u', ffs.
