She's way too old for the bottle still, right????

Are you a parent? You have no idea what you're talking about. Stick to what you know. Some kids never take to a bottle, others have one at night for many years after toddlerhood - it is no longer considered a big deal unless you're painfully old fashioned and conservative.
Babies should be OFF bottles by ONE! Weaning her off of it now is going to be nearly impossible.

To each his own however . . . ANY pediatrician or dentist will tell you how bad it is for children to still be using a bottle once they've got all their teeth. It's the fastest way to rottsville not to mention the strange shape they may take (like when they suck a paci or their thumb). As far as bed sharing, many studies show that it's a very emotionally healthy way to raise children. It turns out Americans are one of the few cultures who push our children out of bed from the moment they're born. Kinda sad.

Not too young particularly. My little sister sucked until about 3, but it was more like a pacifier than for drinking. That child should be eating solids now.

Ok, I didn't want to comment on a 2 year old, but come on! You cannot think that giving your 2 year old a bottle is ok? My son was drinking from a sippy at 9 months. Suri's teeth are going to be crooked and she will possibly have delayed speech. That's a fact; you can read that in a parenting magazine or hear it from any Pediatrician. Some kids just won't give up the bottle and if the parents don't take it away then they just keep on keepin on. My daughter just turned 1 on the 1st and I'm slowly taking away the bottle. But i got a neice about to turn 3 that still takes one. I think 2 is too old for the bottle.

As a parent of three teenagers, I know what I'm talking about. I have to say that this is LAZY PARENTING. Suri is raised by nannies all day, on a regular basis. She is most likely closer to them than her own parents. So when the parents make it a publicity stunt to take her out in public, Suri is distressed and the bottle is a comfort to keep her quiet. Being that Tom and Katie have no idea on how to correctly parent, and don't want a screaming tantrum-taking spectacle, they shove a bottle in her mouth.
