Little Suri Cruise turned 2 years old this past April.
She's way too old for the bottle still, right????
Scientologists raise their kids differently, though. Leah Remini's daughter had the same problem. Her kid also pissed in the bed she would share with her and her husband, though. Yeah, WAY creepy.
Little Suri went to see the Little Mermaid on Broadway with mom Katie on Wednesday night.

Yes, she is toooo old to have a bottle! The only parents that are going to disagree are the lazy ones!
The only reason at all to keep a baby on a bottle after 12-15 month old is if they have a serious medical issue that would require it..
Other than that, the parents are either too lazy or too jello spined to do what is needed…
It is a couple tough days and it's over…. and YES, I have two grown children and five grandsons… I do know what I am talking about….

2nd, yes Suri is much too old for a bottle, her teeth will suffer from it. It'd ridiculous that they haven't gotten her off of that yet.
My child is the same age, hasn't been on a bottle for a year and 1/2 almost, is drinking out of REGULAR cups, not sippy cups, oh and is potty trained.
I, however, do not have much time on my hands. I will point out though that the word is "goad"–NOT "goat." Indeed, only a true, er hem, FUCKTARD, would make such an egregious error!

most pediatricians want kids off bottles by 1 year. Its bad for their tooth development, I guess they can afford the corrective dental work so they dont care.
Stop judging people! You don't know them, judge them by a pictures which show 1 second of their lives. She may use sippy cups at home and bottles when they're out. When was the last time you had to put a sippy cup filled with liquid in a bag that you were lugging around? Bottles are more secure. Why don't you stop telling people how to raise their children?

my 4 yr old too drinks from her bottle when she feels the need to, i dont see any big deal, i hate people trying to make their kids grow up so quick ,and then they wonder why 14 yr olds are having sex, geez its a 2 yr old its practically a baby

I think all you people need to get a life, there is nothing wrong with a kid a little over 2 to drink from a bottle sometimes, it's a comfort zone for them, i have a just turned 3 year old that drinks from a bottle and eats full meals, every child is different, so the people out there quoting the baby books when a child needs to get off a bottle should back off, because not every kid is a cookie cutter kid.
They're probably hiding Suri's psychotropic drugs in that bottle. Can't see a Scientologist taking antidepressants!

And when was the last time you were a mother? She's 2 and walking around with her mom. Did you want her drinking out of a flask?
As for a child "peeing" on the bed. Not that it matters, but it happens all the time, regardless of whether or not a child goes before bed. Their bladders are too big for their bodies as children so a little pee on the bed is normal.
I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and the first thing I thought when I saw yesterday's pics was "oh no". This is BAD, BAD, BAD!!! It is recommended that babies start drinking out of sippy cups at 12 months. Little Suri is going to get a case of bottle mouth aka rotten teeth. They are also not teaching Suri important self-help skills. At her age, she should be learning how to drink out of a regular cup with no lid. This shows that they are over indulging her and she is incontrol of mom not the other way around. For those of you talking about using it for travel, it is called a sippy cup. Bottles are for babies not 2 year olds.
Most kids don't stop until age 5 or so. You're just noticing more because her parents are 'weird' to you.

Having a bottle at 2 is not uncommon. Doctors see a huge benefit in breastfeeding a child for 2 years. What makes me angry is the her mother chose not to breastfeed. It is simply lazy. Pumping and feeding from a bottle might deliver most of the same nutrients. (but every minute it is stored it loses some) but the mother and child lack the natural bonding time that they need. I have a feeling that Suri sees her parents so little she would bond with any adult that gave her some attention. Sad.

my daughter is 3 and a half now, and we said goodbye to her bottle when she was 3. she doesn't get nearly as much pressure and stress as suri does though, so i think it's probably pretty reasonable to let her choose the time to let it go. kids usually want the bottle at that age because they need the comfort, and when facing a wall of photographers suri probably needs it more than most. letting her have those items of comfort instead of forcing her into the parameters laid out for us by dr. sears and associates is probably one of the best indicators of the loving parenting involved, and one of the reasons she seems to be such a happy kid.

Well, yes and no. A bottle in and of itself, well… I've seen toddlers use those for juice as old as 4, sometimes even 5 years old. BUT! The KIND of bottle she has, with the plastic liner in it, plus the fact that it appears to be filled with baby formula…. Okay, yeah, she's way too old for that. I think you're supposed to stop weaning them off the stuff around 6 months old…
Katie holmes and Tom Cruise are spineless permissive parents. It is advised that children be weaned of the bottle by age one. For a two year old child still sucking on a bottle, it's because parents don't want to deal with the temper tantrums that come with weaning children of the bottle. The longer they continue with the bottle the harder it will be to take it away from Suri. Get a back bone Katie and Tom and don't think your hurting your child because she's crying for a bottle. If you can't stand to take the bottle from her at this age imagine when she's older and wants what she wants and gets what she gets..by crying and throwing temper tantrums..What are you going to do then? Geez…by two years old, she should be drinking from a sippy cup. They do make ones that are leak proof. What's the matter with you two? What is that bag in the bottle? Is that normal American formula, or some kind of special formular. It couyld be she has something special (medicated maybe) in the bottle. She was kept hidden a long time after birth, she may be sick in some way???

For the person who is wondering what is in Katie's bag…it's bottled water and a little package of facial tissue…nothing mysterious. Also, that is not her ear that people are commenting on…someone or something is in the background…her ear is under her wig.
I can't believe nobody has commented on the huge, ugly wig that Katie is wearing. Nobody has a head that long on the top back. She doesn't even know how to wear a wig properly. You are supposed to hide your hair (you are not supposed to put your hair a pony tail and look like an alien head). I hear there are things that you can put your hair in (some sort of hair net) that should solve the problem. Katie is rich, dumb, and too lazy to make sure all the hair under isn't showing (look under the curl hitting her sunglasses)…just like when Tom and Katie had the first public picture of Suri taken, you could see Suri's real hair underneath that wig too (look it up), LOL!

You know what - if they go on a toddler 'hunger strike' to get their bottle back, it won't last for long. As soon as they get hungry and the bottle is not available, they'll be happy to take whatever food is offered. Obviously you don't have kids - if you let a two year old rule your life like that, what happens when they turn 15? "Oh, I don't want to tell my kids not to drink/smoke/do drugs/screw in my house because they might not understand why its wrong. So I'll let them do what's best." Hello, grandma at 36.

These poor kids are gonna have major dental issues if they continue to suck on bottles after 2 years old! The nipple constantly being jammed in their mouth messes up their teeth big time. Scientologists obviously have some wacked-out views when it comes to raising kids. Katie called Suri "an amazing woman" in an interview but since when does a "woman" still suck on a bottle? I wouldn't be surprised if Suri and Leah Remini's kid were still in diapers at age 5!
