Whitewashed?

Looks like Michael Jackson just found himself a new photo retoucher!
The people at L'Oréal are denying that Beyonce's photo was purposely retouched to make her look "whiter."
Seriously.
The new print ad for L'Oréal Paris' Feria hair color was officially released this week. It featured a "paler" than normal Beyonce.
However, the cosmetics company is denying any wrongdoing.
A rep for the company says, "Beyoncé Knowles has been a spokesperson for the L'Oréal Paris brand since 2001. We highly value our relationship with Ms. Knowles. It is categorically untrue that L'Oréal Paris altered Ms. Knowles' features or skin-tone in the campaign for Feria's hair color."
As for Beyonce, her rep has yet to comment.
What do U think?

i think that on the left, she has a great tan and on the right, it was the middle of winter.
I think it was just the lighting and makeup.. she has looked that fair before.
Also, is she married? Was it ever confirmed?
TOTALLY RETOUCHED!
first!
She looks white and I know that aint her real hair! All black women that do the straight hair thing should sport an afro and be proud!!! It's natural!!!
fuck yeah they retouched the pic
i think it is just the lighting, there is no way in hell she would have let this photo out if she had a problem with it.
Some people have nothing better to do than stir up controversy
The altered that shit and they know it!
maybe its just cause in the darker picture
it was actually DARKER there -_-
ahh
Who's the white girl?
Ummmmm they definitely whitened her up. She has NEVER been that pale.
1st?!?
Sure, choose the blackest picture of her and compare it to the ad perez…
she does look "Whiter" but i'm sure
that wasn't the purpose? She looks great, anyways.
I'm sure she won't have a prob w/the photo? i wouldn't.
first
well beyonce is already pretty light skinned for being african american
yeah, lighting and make-up and maybe that LIGHT hair color are to blame.
it is the lighting.
Well, it might be the lightening. But if you exclude all possible explanations and just look at the pictures, then yea, the L'Oreal picture does look whiter.
I think you're wrong. I think the light can do that. She doesn't seem much whiter.
I think she looks better white.
i mean look at the other picture
I think it's Beyonce that is the White Washer…She cut up her nose and left her ethnic look on the back burner
she really lks whiter and very very whiter, they just can't say we used a lot of light or smething because is too white, we are not idiots f course it has been retouched
Her skin wasn't lightened. The photo you put on the left is clearly her "with a tan"—the darkest possible picture of her you could find.
I say L'Oreal did no wrong.
they definetly changed her skin tone…
she looks like an ugly version of shakira
that is just plain sad if they altered her skin because she has beautiful, natural skin.
wow she looks totally white lol
im pretty sure this wasnt the same day…. different timesss.
Black, White.. same thing to me. Does it really matter?
Oh, please. If Beyonce (and countless other black celebs) didn't wish they were white, she wouldn't wear blonde, long straight extensions (and blue contacts, etc.)
I have to agree with some people and say it's the lighting. thats what I though when I first saw it. Plus theres the make up she is wearing. I bet it's that.
Her actual skin color is closer to the lighter picture. She's got an ugly-fake-orange tan in the darker one.
I think she's hot!
I don't think they did it on purpose, because I am sure that they would hear from her about it. I have seen her look that light before, and I actually think it looks better than the shiny orange picture!!!
hello, hasn't anyone thought of the fact that beyonce might have gotten darker?? i mean, look at her cleavage in the pic on the left…you can see the skin between is lighter. She's either gotten a tan or is using some kind of a bronzer or something. She's always been a lighter shade of brown and with that weird color of blonde hair that she's got in the Loreal ad, it just makes her seem extra pale. And there is always lighting issues, flash, etc. I don't think they photoshopped.
Ok, so…Beyonce has so much pull with whomever she works with, and probably wants to have as much say so with whatever project shes working on, right??? So, how come she is letting this add come out lookn like dat??
Beyonce has looked much whiter than she did in her early days with the original Destiny's Child FOR YEARS now. Any version of her looking whiter does not surprise me. If anybody is specifically altering her image to make herself appear whiter–it's HER.
yeah shes married and they probably didnt even mean to make her whiter people are just over sensitive
You can see she was tanned on the left.
She's sometimes that light.
Does Loreal think we are totally retarded????? Uhhhh Duhhh Totally retouched…
HAHAHAH….
ONE OF THE COMMENTS SAID whos the white girl…
LOOLLL….
sooo totally retouched…
wow..
you know we keep that white girl….christina aguilera…oops beyonce knowles
Florescent lighting makes a WORLD of difference.
can you do reverse spray tanning? lol. i bet beyonce had so much cake up to look white. i don't blame l'oreAL for this. i heard her dad made the other girls sign a contract stating that she had to be the whitest member of D.C. and if she had gotten tanned, they had to get extra dark. brat.
def lighting and make-up. She looks really tanned on the left.
old news - I've already read this article somewhere else.
*
I think Beyonce is the most beautiful woman in the world.
*
She does not need white wash, don't like it.
*
SAW THIS ON TMZ YESTURDAYYYYYYYYY…….FATTY FAT
I think if you people really get mad or offended by this you're a bunch of idiots. Who f***** cares? Does it really affect your daily activities or your life? She makes enough money to wipe her tears away.
I bet they'll blame it on the flash from the camera
Did you ever think that maybe she has a tan in that photo?
Totally retouched! "lighting" can't wash the pigment out of your skin, it only 'brightens it'.
GIRL WANTS TO BE WHITE, LETS BE SERIOUS!
photoshop.
Propably a mix of lightening and a lack of dark makeup or a tan, L'oreal would have to be retarted to attempt something like that
who knows
