Ben & Jen Dropped $16 Million For New Digs

The shitty economy hasn't effected the Afflecks!
According to a new report, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck purchased a $16 million house in the fancy Brentwood neighborhood of L.A.
The 9,900-square-foot traditional-style home sits on nearly an acre of property and includes 7 bedrooms, 7 baths, 6 fireplaces, a pool and pool house, a brick wine cellar, a library and a 3-car garage.
A home on a whole acre in the LA area is just a dream for many!!
Garner is reportedly five months pregnant and all the work that needs to be put into the house will be done by the time baby number 2 is born.
New neighbors include Spiderman Toby Maguire and Rikki Lake.
We think little Violet Affleck will be such a good big sister. She's always so happy!

Rikki Lake? Well good Violet can air her dirty laundry in Rikki's backyard when she is able to speak in complete sentences. How can Rikki afford a house in that neightborhood? Didn't her career kind of plummet after 1999?
Why Los Angeles? If I had all of that money, the last place I would live is Brentwood in L.A. Rolling Hills Estates, Palos Verdes Estates, now there is a nice community without all of the paps. This is how you know they love the cameras in there faces.

12 basketball courts is nearly an acre. a football field is 1.3 acres. that ain't shit!
The first time around, didn't they move out of L.A. in order to have more privacy?? Like "tattoed white trash" said, they must be missing the attention.
They must have bought a home that looks like a hotel. I have a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1 fireplace, 2 car garage, 1,200sf ranch home on 3/4 of an acre. To have what they just bought….it must be built upwards, instead of outwards. They will sell it in a few years…when they realize that the stairs are a pain in the ass. lol
How can these two afford that? They've both had bomb after bomb. I've always heard Ben has money, but from where? I feel Jen is as big a publicity hound as Angelina J. She just goes about getting the attention in different way.

I don't think that Ben is up for the overpriced home - his gold digger of a wife is. She likes to portray herself in interviews as Miss Pure and Easygoing - I think that image is far from the truth. Let them be idiots, they are competing within their circle. All these overpaid "stars" seem to be paying huge amounts for homes these days and Jen wants what the rest of her peers have. Ben is just going along with her for a quiet life!

Perez, my sentiments exactly. Little Violet is such a happy child with such a cherubic smile. I think she looks exactly like Jennifer, but with blonde hair. I'm really glad they have a solid marriage in crazy Hollywood.

Lets see…..feed a small country or buy an overpriced home? The right choice is perfectly clear!
I guess they can afford it. Actors make obscene amounts of money. The last thing I remember Jen is was Juno. I would probably go for a gated community as then people entering the compound are screened. But most of all I would want a private backyard, totally inaccessible to paps.
