I can't believe you're advertising this! I joined the Mocha Club three years ago after seeing my favorite singers perform.
This is an amazing organization, please, PLEASE check it out.

perez, although i commend you in your efforts to get your readers more involved in international and human rights issues and affairs, i have to warn you that some of the organizations you showcase are not sustainable initiatives. as someone who works extensively in the development field and has spent alot of time in the field experience the effects of these such organizations first hand, i can honestly say that this type of organization creates more problems than solutions.

This sounds great for the little people, but all of you celebrities that are loyal Democrats need to give proportionally. Stop talking the talk and walk the walk. Give up a car or two, a self-indulgent shopping trip or two, or a mansion or two for a good cause. We're tired of hypocrisy. And if you need a role model, Paul Newman would be your man.
Re: mmm – To say you can honestly say this type of organization creates more problems than solutions is completely untrue. I have worked closely with this organization, I know the man who runs this organization, and I just got back from Africa where I saw their work in action. This is one of the best organizations I have seen that truly HELPS the people of Africa! Everyone need to check Mocha Club out. They really are who they say they are and the money goes exactly where they say it goes. Just because some organizations create more problems than solutions doesn't mean all of them do.
