Bernie Mac's Last Days

Bernie Mac's sister-in-law, Mary Ann Grossett, has revealed that his wife of 30 years, Rhonda, and daughter, Je'Nice, were with him until the very end.
Grossett says that the night before Mr. Mac died:
"He struggled for his life. He couldn't breathe. He opened his eyes on his own and looked at Rhonda. She called his name, and he opened his eyes and nodded to her. She smiled at him and told him, 'Don't leave me … 'I'm waiting for you to come back.' He shrugged his shoulders, and she said that's when she knew he was tired. He signaled to her that his body was tired. He opened his eyes on his own and looked at Rhonda. She called his name, and he opened his eyes and nodded to her. She smiled at him and told him, 'Don't leave me … 'I'm waiting for you to come back.' He shrugged his shoulders, and she said that's when she knew he was tired. He signaled to her that his body was tired."
[The doctors] were working on him. They tried to resuscitate him two times. One time he came back for about an hour. Then he went into cardiac arrest the second time."
It also turns out that his reps incorrectly reported that sarcoidosis did not contribute to his death. His sister-in-law said:
"He had sarcoidosis, but it was in remission. But because he had it, his immune system was compromised. He had an infection… He was on a new medication that suppresses the immune system, and that's where the pneumonia came from."
The funny man was actually hospitalized on July 24, eight days before the date given for his admittance. The actor was diagnosed with pneumonia and immediately placed on a ventilator.
Also, in contradiction with the statements issued by his PR rep, the comedian was critically ill and in intensive care the entire time he was in the hospital.
Doctors reportedly kept the star sedated, although he was conscious at times and he contracted a second strain of pneumonia while in the hospital.

Saw him in Vegas with, ironically, Richard Jenney. It was Jenny's show and Bernie was in the audience and they called him up on stage. His impromptu performance was hysterical. He was a true talent and will be missed.

He died because he contracted Hospital Pneumonia….What the "F" can't even movie stars get decent health care? If you know someone already has pneumonia you should treat with viral and bacteria meds….I bet his ventilator wasn't sanitized properly…I HOPE his family sues….Having two different strains is what caused the death; not just the first strain…TYPICAL..1 out of 25 dies in the hospital…

So why did his spokesperson lie? I can see bending the truth for the family's sake, they don't need paps in their face asking them how it feels that Bernie is dying, but why get his fans' hopes up by saying he'll be going home soon??
Why don't they just admit HIV? The more celebs that admit they are HIV positive, the more the world will become aware and educated, and the more they minimize the stigma of HIV.

That's really sad to read this but i know he is in a better place and was so lucky to show the world his work and funny shows and movies we all have these to watch. My condolences go out to his daughter and wife that's amazing he was married for thirty years to one women he didnt let his fame go to his head by trading in for a younger barbie out there i like his so much more what a real man.
