Boy, 11, Arrested In Drug Store Robbery
Fake Guns Used During Holdup
ORLANDO, Fla. — An 11-year-old boy was arrested Monday morning after police said he tried to rob a Walgreen's drug store.
The boy entered the store at Kirkman Road and Raleigh Street around 3:30 a.m. with fake guns and tried to rob an employee and the store manager, Orlando Police Department Lt. A. Skiles said.
Someone in the store was able to dial 911, and officers were waiting for the boy when he fled.
The boy tried to get away on a bike, but Skiles said officers quickly caught up with him.

WHY IS AN 11 YR OLD OUT AT 3 AM IS THE QUESTION!!!!!!!
and this is the exact reason that boys should not play with toy guns!!!!! lol 11 seriously???!!!!
Rofl! First!
Why am I not suprised?
God Bless America
oh no… what a dumb kid.
Hmmm….are you gonna re-post this story eight months from now, too? (like you did yesterday with the dead man check-cashing story, you originally posted in January?)
lol
Lol.
He must have walked in there and said, "Alright lady, put all the damn gummy worms, and Go-Gurt in the bag and no one gets hurt bitch!"
Hahaha what a dumb kid Haha
Arrest the parents or state guardians for letting an 11 year old out of the house at 3:30 AM. I am sure he snuck out. Next time he'll get his hands on real guns.
That is seriously f*cked up. That kid has issues.

Re: *juggzy* – Dont be dis respectin FL
man this is how bad times are and the economy is! but his parents are to blame, cuz i'm sure this lil boy did not think it out when he decided to rob the place lol
Aaaaahahahaha.
This is so stupid and I love it.
Thank God, that he didn't try holding up a different establishment, such as a gas station…some clerks have guns, of their own, under the counter. It's, also, a good thing that the kid didn't raise his 'gun' at the police. This boy could have gotten himself killed.
Oh my GOD. WTF is WRONG with his kid and his fucking PARENTS?! Have we ever heard of disicpline? Spank the kid, put him in a fucking corner, take away his toys (like the guns) SOMETHING!
Re: tia – I am willing to bet that he overheard his parents/guardians talking, or arguing, about money matters (namely, the lack of)…and, he tried to 'help' his family. Most 11yo's are impulsive and compulsive…they don't USUALLY think things through, nor about the ramifications.
Are his parents to blame? I don't know. But, considering that most kids listen to their friends (which CAN be highly suggestible), more than to their parents/elders, and it's not overly difficult for an 11yo to sneak out of the house….it's hard to guess if this kid was encouraged, to do this, or if it was his own idea.
Re: DIJordan – don't try to sound smart… it doesn't work for you. …. btw 11yr olds are compulsive??? impulsive, yes, compulsive? fucking no, do you even know what that means??? if that were true, you would be suggesting that this kid repeatedly needs to rob stores
here, i'll paraphrase:
He probably heard his parents talking about how they're having financal difficulties and need more money, and all he was trying to do was help his family. Children often act on impulse and don't think about the consequences of their actions. So are his parents to blame? It's fairly easy to sneak out of the house, and children often succumb to pressure from their peers, so maybe his friends told him to do it, and he did.
… more clarifying than paraphrasing, it was all pretty important, it just didn't make sense.
Re: amanda88 – I am sorry…I thought that I was stating MY opinion. And, since I don't know every aspect, to this story, it was only conjecture, on my part. I didn't realize that I was going to be tested, regarding my grammar and intelligence. If I had known, I would have tried to simplify it.
Just so you know, I type, write and speak, as my thoughts dictate…I can't help it (it's how I was taught). And, if you consider it wrong…then, I feel badly for anyone who keeps a personal diary or journal.
Yes, I do know the definition of 'compulsive' (if I didn't, I wouldn't have used it)…and, I stand by my initial comment. I never said that this, particular, kid would have had a compulsion to continue robbing…I said that MOST kids are compulsive (by nature). If they weren't, I wouldn't hear most parents tell their children 'don't do this' and 'don't do that' (over and over, again), while the kids keep doing it.
hahaha fucking thug lol
Ugh blame it on the nasty area this kid lives in. I'm sure his older relatives helped him out. Kirkman and Raleigh nuff said. But really this kinda crap happens all the time in Whorlando. Fun to visit, unless of course you get robbed
hahahah omg and it's Florida!!! Gotta love our home state right Perez!!!
Only 11 and already trying to rob a store? Geez!! People are such lousy parents these days.
where the hell are his parents?
aww His first robbery….
His parents must be so proud!!!!
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
LOL have any of you been to Orlando? I've lived here for 2 years now for school…and the shit that happens here is ridiculous. There is so much wrong with this city. Trust me, it's not all Mickey Mouse and Shamu. It's guns, murder, drugs, and hookers. That's why all the tourist stuff is all on one street, and Disney world basically has it's own city lol I can't wait to get out of this town again.
WCMI is exactly right. I've lived in Orlando for 5 years now (originally from craptacular Daytona Beach) and it's going downhill quickly. I work near this particular Walgreen's and it's near a Super Wal-Mart that has been robbed in broad daylight several times recently. The kids in this neighborhood are just all around "bad kids"…part of it is the parent's problem, yes…but part of it is the surroundings (the other kids, adults) that they deal with on a daily basis.
Gotta love Orlando. Sigh.
that kid is stupid
haha…wow
It just happened in the walgreens that is 10 minutes from my house….fuck, I have to leave "Thuglando" like now!!!!! you cant trust anyone now these days!
wow, an 11 year old ?
awesome .
What the hell is wrong with people now days. That's what happens when young people give birth and give bad parenting skills.
