Holy McLovin!
Pineapple Express star James Franco has revealed that we could be seeing a Pineapple Express-meets-Superbad flick on the big screen!
Franco told MTV:
“Even before ‘Superbad’ came out, I think the studio was trying to get [Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg] to write a sequel, but they really didn’t want to write a sequel. I guess the kids would go to college or something like that [that was the studio's idea]. And so, an answer to that was to do a ‘Superbad’/'Pineapple Express’ crossover, an unprecedented crossover movie with two directors, Greg Motolla and David Gordon Green, each directing half of the movie and somehow these characters get together, which doesn’t make sense at all, but could work.”
Rogen himself has stated that he’d be interested in a “Pineapple” sequel. But how would he combine the two universes? Just ask Franco.
“I could sell them [the characters from 'Superbad'] something, but I think we’d want some action, so you know, somehow the kids get in trouble somehow and we have to get them out of it. And Seth plays characters in both movies, so somehow we’d have to kill one of them off.”
That's a whole lot of information! Will Mr. Franco get in tons of trouble for telling all?
If it's going to happen we think it needs to happen fairly soon!

i hate when studios take something totally great and creative and original and have to get their grubby hands all in it to make more money! these guys are fun and speak to a generation that the studios have lost touch with. forcing them to make a flinstones meets the jetsons type movie is a quick way kill any appeal that these guys have!
love it…rogens character was a slack police officer in superbad….he could be the twin of the process server in pineapple….a stoner with a cop for a brother….hilarity ensues as he tries to hide dope from brother and finds out brother is using all along (badge number 420). You heard it here first - I want a royalty for coming up with a great idea for the cross over movie

I am SO into it. Superbad was fuckin hilarious and Pineapple Express..well that was just FUCKING AMAZING! So a mixture of the two would be FUCKING AMAZINGLY HILARIOUS! So yeah I'm down. Plus, Franco is SUCH a hottie is Pineapple Express….yum

Not as difficult as your making it out to be……(twins?)in my oppinion make it to where seth rogen becomes a cop after pineapple express .His personality is quite similar in both so there you go…..Or the complete opposite

I hope the crossover is true, both movies were hilarious.
if it happens it has potential to be amazing, but if they can't make it amazing then they shouldn't ruin either movie franchise.
