The King Lives

Hubba hubba!
Just in time for Elvis week in Memphis, Mattel has released a special edition wedding Elvis and Priscilla "Barbie" set.
The dolls are wearing replica outfits of what the couple wore on their wedding day in Las Vegas on May 1, 1967.
Dayum. We just tried to buy one on the Mattel site but it's sold out!
This Saturday marks the 31st anniversary of Elvis Presley's death.
RIP, King.

Re: DIJordan –
Hahahahah!
I saw them in walmart u can go there i wanted to buy them but they were mega expensive
Re: tzoe92 – I have to ask….WHY would you want to buy them?? Is Elvis THAT important, that you must have them?
Re: DIJordan – To add onto my last comment….My father-in-law was stationed at the same military base, as Elvis. And, Ive got news for you Elvis fans…he got just as nervous, scared and vulnerable as ANY OTHER MAN, in a time of war. Fortunately, for him, though….Elvis was exempt from what our brothers, uncles, fathers, and grandfathers had to endure.
All for the sake of publicity and popularity.
Re: DIJordan – YOU ASK WHY? I ask - why not?!? He was 'The King'! There will never be another - not even close! By the looks of your pic, I'm sure you're old enough to appreciate the beauty of this man & the joy that he brought to everyone. The man was beautiful! He was sexy! He had a wonderful voice that could make women (hell…even guys) scream for absolutely no reason! Even The Beatles have been quoted saying 'Elvis is what made them want to do what they did'! HE IS……THE KING!
I want one. I love Elvis
GORGEOUS!!! What great a fabulous likeness!!! I want one!
Wow… those actually look like the real people!
*covets*
Re: LSD – Oh, yes…I am old enough to appreciate the joy that he has brought to his fans. As for his 'beauty'…well, let's just say that he is not my cup of tea, shall we?
By the way…the photo is not of me. It is of Hermione Norris, who portrayed DI Jordan on BBC's 'Wire In The Blood'.
A BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTE TO ROCK 'N ROLL ROYALTY. WELL DONE MATTEL!!
i got 3 of them….putting them on ebay now!
