What went down?
According to Variety, Paula Wagner is leaving her post at United Artists. Wagner co-owns UA with Tom Cruise and MGM.
She's supposedly going on to produce projects under her independent shingle and also with UA. She'll also continue working with Tom Cruise and MGM on various films she has already developed and will retain an ownership interest in the studio..
Wagner will likely depart the company after she completes post-production of the expected stinker Valkyrie.
Sounds like she's trying to put some space between herself and her former BFF, the Scientology poster child!

She was more forced out due to her inability to pull the trigger on productions. UA was about to lose a huge chunk of financing for not meeting production deadlines. She's a decent producer, but a horrible exec. Two other execs have quit UA in the past few months.

I thought that they parted ways a few years ago. In either case, it's a smart move on her part. He's on a downhill spiral…and, picking up speed.

Do you ever feel it is JUST PLAIN MEAN to always pick on a person you dont even know? He hasn't done anything to you, or to anyone you know. As far as any of us know: he is not in jail, he hasn't stolen any money, he doesn't drink and drive, he doesn't beat his wife, he doesn't cheat, he really seems like an pretty good menber of society, so why don't you look inward and question what in your life is making you put energy into hating a stranger.

Are you even on the correct site? Also, being a Scientologist does not make you a "good member of society", no matter what you Scientologists like to believe. When you go out and do your protests against psychiatry, you're also saying it's okay to kill psychiatrists. Tell that to your fellow Aussie $cilons.

I, personally, have a son who is ADD. He went to a Catholic school from K-2nd grade…and when I expressed my concerns, his teachers were adamant that meds were not needed….and he was doing horribly, in school. I transferred him to public school, and ON meds….and now he is pulling in A's and B's. Then, I hear Cruise downplaying post-partum depression,ADD/ADHD…at a time when he didn't even have a child. He has absolutely no clue.
His haircut looks like the one Adolph Hitler used to wear.

How is Valkyrie an 'expected stinker'?? I don't get it. Just because he's crazy, doesn't mean it will be bad. I really haven't seen a bad movie with him in it.
