Let's blame Hugh Hefner's "main" girlfriend for this one.
It looks like Holly Madison is slowly getting Hefner all to herself.
At a party last Thursday for EA Madden NFL '09 Game Launch, Hef and Holly showed up alone with the other Girls Next Door. There was no Kendra Wilkinson or Bridget Marquardt in sight.
Holly and Hef were spotted "canoodling" all night long in the VIP area.
There's even worse news, however.
This past weekend was the annual Midsummer Night's Dream party at the Playboy Mansion.
Several celebs attended, as usual, but that's quickly going to change.
Inside sources are claiming this will be the last time the Shakespeare-theme party will take place.
Apparently, after so many years of partying, Hefner is giving it up.
Word is that this year's annual Halloween party will be the last event he will personally throw. Sources are also claiming it's being done to cut costs.
No official word has been given by Playboy, though a rep did say, "Who knows what will happen in a year from now?"

They are in the talks about making a movie about Hef and his life. Robert Downey Jr. is up for the part of Hef. He has done all he can accomplish in his life and what is wrong with moving forward????
Holly is my least favorite Girl Next Door. She comes off as phony, obnoxious, envious, petty, etc. If anyone should be dumped off it should be her. I don't know what Hef even sees in her. Her personality is so one-dimensional and her looks are not even as good as so many of the other women that I've seen on the show.
