Could David Beckham get any luckier? Or hotter?
It's just been announced that the hottie will star in the closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics on August 24th.
A source says, "David is going to be in the surprise finale. They always have a segment to do the handover, to showcase the next city to host the Olympics."
And, in case you don't already know, the next Summer Olympics in 2012 will be held in London.
So, Beckham will be on site in China to help symbolize the transition.
The source adds, "He was very involved in the London bid to get it, and as a Londoner he is incredibly proud that the Olympics will be in London. He is passionate about it and looking forward to the games in 2012."
Wonder if David will be traveling with Posh and the kids?
We'd be interested to see what Victoria wears to the Olympic Games!

I met him in London three years ago, He was there to promote his DVD 'Bend it like the real Beckham' and he was amazing and adorable, he signed my DVD and took a pic together and gave a hug. It was a great day.
