Sad news today for the fans of the Latin pop band RBD (Rebelde).
The group has just announced that they are retiring.
Ay, que triste!!!!!
The band, who's been together for only four years, will be saying their goodbye in an upcoming farewell world tour.
The news was confirmed by a statement from the band on their official site.
According to the group, all great bands must change and go through some transformations.
So it's likely that maybe they will return to the music scene as solo artists? Or another group???
As of now, their final tour will go to Serbia, Slovenia, Venezuela, Argentina, Rumania, Brazil, Peru, Los Angeles, and Mexico.
Who knew RBD was so popular in Eastern Europe???

I'm T-I-R-E-D of that group, that isn't THAT popular anymore.
I'm not an rbd fan but i know they only got together because of their "novela" and the split was long overdue, they were still together because they were a huge success but it was not meant to be such a long term project, it was only supossed to be while the show aired. and believe it or not they were HUGE and still are, u should ask their Brazilian fans mostly wich I've heard is where they're most succesfull. maybe they're not such great singers but the songs are catchy and they've been in show biz (most of them) sonce they were kids, as actors and singers too, individually, so yeah I guess if they go solo they will be a success too after all this rbd-mania. and f they're splitting it's cuz each one is doing inidvidual projects (Mayte is acting in another soap opera, Dulce wrote a book, Alfonso just finished a movie, etc) it's dumb that most of u talk bad about them just cuz they're latin and ur not..

I am not going to lie. I love this group. They were amazing. Not only was their novela amazing but their music was great. I knew that this was coming sooner or later. I just wish nothing but the best for each and every one of them.
