Could they be right?
Fox News claims that the real reason Warner Bros. pushed the new Harry Potter movie's release date from November 2008 to July 2009 is star Daniel Radcliffe's appearance in the Broadway production of Equus.
The Harry Potter lead will be right in the middle of his sensational, highly publicized run in the play — naked and having sex on stage!
That's supposedly not the image Warner Bros. wants associated with bespectacled Harry, who remains 'chaste and virginal'.
But, it's not like this is something 'new' for the film studio to deal with.
The Potter actor has already been nude and sexed it up on the London stage!
We think it's all about money!

That's totally wrong. They are pushing it up because of the writer's strike…the studio doesn't have any big ticket films coming up, so they want to save Harry Potter for the big moneymaking summer season rather than the not-so-lucrative Thanksgiving season.

Of course, it's about money. They can lay blame, wherever they choose…but, the fact remains….the longer the delay, and the bigger the hype…the MORE that MOST people will want to see it….which creates revenue.

Hey you know what.. you got a problem with him getting naked (as an actor)… DON'T TAKE YOUR KIDS TO SEE HIM NAKED… it's theater not a film.. the access to even seeing or really knowing about it from a kid's point of view is contained to an appropriate point. Just take 'em to the movie and don't go "hey you know what jr? he was off pretend fucking on stage…without any clothes on… in front of ADULTS."

Warner is having big money doo doo problems and management changes. It could mean alot of things. Maybe they need to book the revenue for 2009.
He doesn't have sex on stage. I've seen Equus performed and it's all fake. So you see peen. Big whoop. I'm thinking the writers strike had more to do with it than any negative publicity from Daniel Radcliffe being on Broadway, naked.

While I agree that whoever the fuck is in charge of everything besides casting (I must say, casting is done very well…except for the fact that Danny boy just…can't…act…period) should be shot in the head for ruining the most genius storyline ever written. They ass-fuck the shit out of all the facts, leaving the important stuff out, and forcing the most random and irrelevant CRAP in. That said, the writer's strike clearly has jack-shit to do with the delay….the movie's finished. The script was finished the day they started filming. So…no. That's not it. Oh, and there has already been a public statement by that Horn asshole giving the reason: They are still riding Batman (I admit, it is an amazing movie!) like a cheap hooker, and they plan on doing the SAME thing for the new potter film…which is why it is being released the exact same midsummer weekend as batman was, only a year later. Little do they realize…Ralph Fiennes isn't about to drop dead anytime soon, so the odds that it is going to do anywhere near as well as Batman are not in their favor…but who gives a shit. Lets delay the goddamn movie fans have been waiting to see for a year now just 8 more months. Thanks WB! Like you need the motherfucking money!
