More horrible TV could be heading our way!
Wrestler-turned-politician Jesse Ventura is , in talks to host his own court show aimed at daytime television.
Judge Jesse???

Court shows reportedly remain one of the most stable and popular categories for new syndication development.
There are 11 court-room reality series on the air in first-run syndication, with Judge Judy leading the pack.
Do we really need ANOTHER court show?
Unless it's done differently and with some edge, don't do it!

A court show with no real judge? Huh? Seems silly to me.

The judge shows aren't actually judge shows - most of them are former judges acting as arbitrators, which doesn't actually have any requirements - they don't even have to follow the law if they don't want to, and the parties agree to be bound by the arbitrator's decision
I actually met Jesse Ventura at the Mall of America when he was Gov. of Minn. I was living in Des Moines and I said to myself, "Self, Minneapolis is supposed to be a great city (which, it is) when are you ever going to live this close to it again?" So I hopped in my car and drove up there. He was doing a book signing at the MOA, so I bought the book and went up to the table to meet him. He's huge.. a truly enormous man…he shook my hand. I bought a cup of coffee and went home. In a nut shell, I once drove to Minneapolis for a cup of coffee and met the Governor.
I'm, ahem, in between jobs at the moment so 'll admit it, I watch a lot of crappy daytime TV: from 2 episodes of Full House a day, 2 of 90120, and lots of Next Top Model and Law & Order CI, but NO. No, I refuse to watch that debauchery known as "court." Plus, what's worse, it'll probably be on Fox.

Hey! No hatin' on the Jess Man. He is a very wise and socially educated man. He did a lot for the state of Minnesota, but the "good ol' boys" just wouldn't admit or allow it. You want different with some edge? Jesse is the man.
Jesse Ventura rules, he is one of the few American politicians (albeit ex-politician) that has the balls to speak his mind and question your government…kinda figures the Amerikkkan media including this tabloid blog would diss/smear him

I'm sure court shows are one of the most popular categories for new daytime television shit only because they probably get good ratings. because that's all that's on TV on channels people get without cable from like noon to 5. There's not really any other option but to watch soap operas.
