Finally Being Released? Does Anybody Care??

As we mentioned two months ago, nine tracks from Guns N' Roses long-awaited new album, Chinese Democracy, have leaked online.
The album has been 14 years in the making.
It BETTER be good!
But, now, according to some inside sources, negotiations are reportedly being made to finally release the album as a exclusive to some giant retailer, like Best Buy or Wal-Mart.
Another source adds that negotiations are also under way for a conventional record company distribution.
Whichever way it happens, it's about time that album gets released.
Of course, reps for Guns N' Roses, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart could not be reached or declined to comment.
If the album does come out this year, Dr. Pepper better honor its promise of giving "everyone in America" a FREE can of soda.

It might not be the greatest album, but it'll definitely be interesting…I'll definitely buy it. And I highly doubt it'll be out this year, negotiations and crap take months.

I've already heard a few cuts, they're not bad, but nothing that special either.
The real heyday of GNR was the late 80s, when they truly were a great rock and roll band because they were dangerous and unpredictable.
Now it's just Axl and friends rehashing what was.

Re: KevinK – yes he was goint balder than brett michaels…..he is wearing a lace front so we can't tell……but i can tell….its way too thick and unnatural onto and i remember him going bald in the early 2000's. his hair was always limp and stringy…this lace front is a big impovement.

But anyway, I'm calling bullshit on this Perez (kind of like the story you posted about Kathy Griffin's assistant Jessica quitting, which turned out to be utter bullshit as well), because it would be the dumbest move in the history of music. First off, he's waited 14 years to release the album and kept his appearances at an extreme minimum. Secondly, he's obviously going to lose major cred because it's not the same GNR that everybody loved in the 80's and early 90's. Don't you think distributing only to Wal-Mart would just slam the nail in the coffin? He'd be smart to only distribute to iTunes if he were going to go that route…at least he'd maintain some credibility. But this is probably all bullshit.
i fucken love guns n roses and they are still the greatest rock band ever hopefully this album will show all those all American rejects and sum 41, and lets not forget gay as red jumpsuit apparatus fans what real rock music should sound like ….like kathy griffin says everyone who hates should "SUCK IT"…

GN'R sold out with the totally commercial Use Your Illusion I & II. The only CD's I would own of theirs is "Appetite For Destruction" and "GN'R Lies".
