If you have tickets to the Tyra Banks Show, you may want to reconsider going!
According to reports, Tyra Banks kept her show audience waiting last week for almost two hours for the show's "Celebrating Black Models, Past, Present and Future" episode while she hung backstage laughing, snacking and chatting with the crew.
An audience member said:
"You could hear her going on and on because she was standing right behind the stage curtain. She's talking and talking. Meanwhile, you have the entire audience waiting almost two hours for the taping to start."
When TyTy finally made it on to the stage, she didn't give the audience any explanations or show her appreciation for attendance.
"She leaves us waiting, and everyone is sitting there complaining, and then she comes out and doesn't say a word about it. She didn't even say hello, she got right into her script. She acted so cold towards everyone. She's a phony."
Another source reports that when addressing the guest models, "Tyra kept saying, 'When I was a model,' and would hardly let them talk. It was all about her, as usual."
For the show's ending, TyTy dragged the audience out into the street:
"Cops had it closed off, and Tyra had bodyguards. She had the audience prance down the street and then release black balloons. Some were whining that it was so bad for the environment. It was so disorganized, people fell over the press outside and almost trampled two little girls. Tyra was acting like it was a live sporting event instead of the most self-indulgent, narcissistic crap."

Completely agree. I hate that on top model she does the same thing. Granted she is supposed to mentor the models but does she really HAVE to take her own shot of what assignment they are doing and then tell each and every girl how she would make their pose better. I went to a taping of her show in l.a. And it's so true that she does'nt acknowledge her audience or interacts with them. Kimora Lee Simmons was a star guest and she was awesome she joked around with us even danced with one of the audience members and this was all while we were not taping, her attitude was 100x's better then Tyra, she was very rude and self absorbent. Her show sucks I never watched it again.

What bothers me about Tyra is that she feels she is "THE" expert on the modeling industry. Truth be told, she was always a second-tier model. There are the Cindys, Christys and Naomis of the world, an exclusive group of 6 or so women who reinvigorated the industry by becoming iconic; and then there was Tyra. She elevates herself by claiming to be an authority on everything and making herself the center of the universe. I love ANTM but I don't buy into her act. Her talk show is DREADFUL.

Well is anyone surprised? This coming how many weeks after that shiteous photo spread of her poseing as the first lady, for no apparent reason, other then she was giveing ode to herself as usual. I mean I've tried to watch her show, her show IS albout her. It's like "me, me, me, ME!!!" and she isn't subtle about it ether. She tries to pretend "caring" and "shocked" with some of her guess, like she's so self righteous and hasn't ever done stuff. I think it should be a requirement for all high school students to take a course on Race, Ethnicity, Institutional Racism and Privilege. People in America do not understand RACE at all, even people of color do not really understand these things. Race is woven into the fabric of our country but we do not discuss it in an objective, intelligent, non threatening space. I have noticed that no matter WHAT the topic of her show is, Tyra ALWAYS manages to make it about herself. She will be talking to someone about some type of hardship that they have experienced in their lives and then she will butt in with something that happened to her and then pretend to cry. This is nothing new. I went to the Academy Awards in 2000 (red carpet bleacher seats). Tyra and Meredith Vierra were rehearsing all morning on the red carpet for later when they were to interview the celebs. Meredith at least waved to the fans periodically. Tyra was a stuck up snob the whole time. She ignored everybody in the stands and acted like we were all beneath her. Later….when all the celebs were there, we all ignored Tyra. Ya know, she was one of the fist celebrities we saw there, and everybody was just so excited. We did not forget how rude she was. The day got better, it was the year of "American Beauty". We got to see Angelina Jolie, Gwenyth Paltrow, Kevin Spacey, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe and Hilary Swank. FORGET TYRA!! Whenever I see her on TV acting all sweet, I know it's fake.
