I have OCD!!!!!!!! I love it!
hieren
!
Thanks for this one Perez. I was diagnosed with severe OCD at 13. It's better now - but still a daily struggle.
Seriously, help my fiance get off my ass for once!
Definitely a worthwhile cause, my father has it, doesn't think he has a problem, and all of us around him see it, it's an extremely crippling disorder from a psychological aspect, and I feel powerless in my ability to help him!
Everyone has it to some degree
Everyone has it to some degree

I am so glad you posted this. People don't realize that OCD is more than alphabetizing your cereal boxes!
Re: Andy27 – I don't think they're talking about Obsessive Cocksucking Disorder.
And I love you.
I HAVE IT
Oh, please. This is a madeup disease. I read the fucking think 27 times while holding my breath and inhaling/exhaling at the same strength and speed and it still makes no sense. "We've Only Just Begun" to figure out this malady. One, two, three…
Re: karencarpenter – You should shut up. You sound ignorant. As someone who suffers from OCD, I can tell you it's real, loser.
Re: Andy27 – wow
niiceee
isn't that mattress mac's daughter?
Another way for drug companies to sell more drugs.
I read this article and then all the comments posted to it… and had to reply. This is actually my first post…
My son and I both have OCD and live with it daily with the help of meds. I think this is a great article to post since so many people live with it privately.
As for post from 'karencarpenter', I think it is funny as heck! I even LOL. The whole thing… that's great!
Good cause, Perez, definitely.
I have a bad case of OCD it is a struggle everyday but im doing my best
How many of you have a 'routine' while doing the laundry, stocking the fridge/pantry, locking up the house at night, washing yourself in the shower, going down the aisles in a grocery store the exact same way each week, mowing the lawn in the same direction each time, etc.? And, if your routine gets altered in any way, you tend to feel like something is missing or you forgot something….which does not make for a good day.
As someone has already stated…we all have OCD, to some degree.
I've had many boughts of OCD since I was 11 or so I'm now 21. It's quite an embarrassing thing to have. It's A LOT better for me then it use to be though. Thank God!
Re: Andy27 – i fucking hate your ugly guts. i cant do anything on here without seeing your face complaining about sometime. you probably do have ocd. obsessive about hating on Perez because he wont have u
That girl is the model of J. Dickenson Agency. Eli, and she was also in the anti acne spot that was on the show.
Thanks for posting this
If THIS is what OCD looks like, count me in.
(Call me, Elizabeth! You gorgeous lamb…)
WOW! She's giving me an OCD!
I once had a co-worker who made separate list of EVERYTHING (right down to her hangers and trash bags) in her home (one list for her bedroom, one list for her livingroom, one list for her kitchen, and so on and so forth)…THEN, she made a list of her lists!
OCD is a very serious disorder, and should not be taken lightly.
I'm 27, and I have had OCD my entire life. It's a very tough disease. I know how difficult it is to stop unwanted obsessions and compulsions. Did you know that more people have OCD than asthma and diabetes combined? I created www.ocdadvice.com to help other sufferers battling this disorder. Check out my site for helpful links and inspirational stories.
This is the first time that I even acknowledged my OCD (my own husband never knew…it was the one thing that I could never tell him)….and, if it helps just one person, it would be well worth it.
I grew up in a VERY abusive household. If I didn't use my fingers, to pick up the minute specks of dirt on the carpeting, I was beaten. If one speck of dirt was found on top of the cabinets, I was beaten. If the pots and pans were not scrubbed, like new…yep, I was beaten. Etc., etc., etc.
And, by 'beaten'…I mean with a metal dog leash or the buckle end of a belt, while bare-assed over the back of the sofa.
Did I believe that my husband would have beaten me? Hell, no…he never laid a hand on me, and never would have. But, there are some things that are so 'ingrained', from childhood…that it's difficult to let it go.
thank you so much perez for posting this. i am a 15 year old girl and i have ocd. people say everyone has ocd, which is false. every has some obsessive compulsions, but it becomes a disorder when it interferes with and negatively affects your life. sure everyone has routines, but when if you don't do then you wig out and feel uncontrollably anxious then it becomes more of ocd. it really bothers me how much people belittle ocd. ocd greatly disrupts my life and causes me a lot of pain and anxiety.
i have a severe case of OCD! Im on disability because of it ! its avery serious illness that could be crippling to your way of life!
Re: karencarpenter – it is a made up disease? wow you are so ignorant. ocd is caused my an imbalance of neurotransmitters in your brain. yeah, that doesn't sound very made up to me.
My son has OCD and we COMPLETELY control it by avoiding gluten which is the protein found in many grains but especially wheat! Many others are able to control or eliminate it by avoiding casein which is the protein found in dairy. OCD is often an allergic response to gluten and casein. Everyone thinks that allergies show up as a stuffy nose or hives but behavior is huge as well!
I have been diagnosed with Moderate OCD with the warning that it will become severe as I get older (hereditary links). Thank you for bringing it up in your blogs! I control my OCD with cognitive therapy and spirituality. I'm a Pagan/Thelemite, but any form of faith and/or mental discipline will help!
Thank you…
Re: nathomas27 posts www.ocdadvice.com –
Nice job on your informational website!
My son has OCD and, when he was younger it just about did me in. Please parents, if your child has OCD, get Counseling and or Medication. It isn't worth the strain on your relationship to try and ignore your kid's symptoms OR to tell them to control themselves. They can't.
Would OCD be like, someone who owns a webpage posting about the same event.. (Like say the Ellen marriage) 4-5 times in a week?
Jesus Fuckin Christ, she looks like a fuckin member of The Muppet Show cast. Just look at this stupid lookin woman. hhahah ! Her face looks like a fuckin cartoon or some shit, fuckin muppet face. Hey Elizabeth, 1990s called - they want their blouse back you fuckin muppet !
This is like something straight out of the muppet show
