Lily Allen is….frustrated that her new album isn't being released this fall, as previously planned.
The record has been pushed back to next year and the feisty Brit is blaming her record label!
Allen took to her blog and has posted the following:
Now , the album . it has been finished for a while now , I don't really know whats going on with it . The record industry is a very political place at the moment and I am on EMI records , lots of people have been fired or have taken redundancy recently as the company was taken over by a private equity firm called Terra Firma . Many of these people were people assigned to my projects and now i don't quite know whats going on . I'm sure everyone will find their feet soon enough and i'll be able to put the album out soon .
In the meantime there are the olympics to watch and the football seasons starting which are both far more entertaining anyway. I'm gonna go to the V concerts tomorrow , which will be fun i'm sure , and then i might go on another holiday as i don't have anything else to do .

How fucking annoying! It's been ages since her last record, so I can imagine she's fustrated. I hope she makes an appearance as a guest at the Reading festival this coming weekend.
Her music is too good to be delayed! Her last album was beyond great! It was one of the best of 2007! People only say she sucks because she isn't depressing like Radiohead, or "perfect" like Rihanna, who I must say is extremely boring & talentless. Lily Allen, on the other hand, is a great artists. She writes great songs, and every song on her last album could've easily been a great single. I hope her next album's just as good if not better.

Lily Allen is an immature little brat who came to the media's attention by slagging off other celebs and starting pointless feuds. She always finds someone else to blame for her own failings. I liked her first album but as a person she sucks. She cancelled her American tour last year without any real reasons givens. Maybe if she wasn't getting off her tits/displaying her tits all the time, her label might take her a bit more seriously and invest more time and money in her. You reap what you sow Lily.
