Peace Out, Pops!

peachesandmax__opt1.jpg

She's 'rebelling' big time!

The UK's Mirror reports that newlywed Peaches Geldof has dropped a second bombshell on her not-so-happy dad, Live Aid founder Sir Bob Geldof, telling him, "I'm moving to America."

Peaches' quickie Vegas marriage to Chester French musician Max Drummey two weeks ago has already incensed Sir Bob.

A friend of Peaches tells the paper, "She and Max have decided it is better for both of them if she leaves the UK. But Bob is horrified as she is only a teenager."

Don't worry, Bob. We assume once money gets low, Peaches will run home in no time!

  4. 4

fuck peaches, it's always the children of parents who try to do good in the world that fuck it up! If i see her in LA, I'll hide my crack!

  5. 5

YES! stay there peaches, we won't miss ya.

  6. 6

I hope she jumps on the plastic surgery bus while she's here. Damn English women on the whole (with some exceptions) are very fugly.

  7. 7

…christ. Is that Bob or his daughter on the left? Yikes. Keep her over there. we have enough uglies here. "Sailing On The Tide" is a bad idea if the boat is heading in our direction.

Re: R.abbit – "I Don't Like Mondays" I think. Unless I am real fucked up today I think he was in the Boomtown Rats or something like that.

Its Peaches Honeyblossom Michelle Charlotte Angel Vanessa Geldof. If you had a name like that you'd be a fucked up loser too.

If she is old enough to get married, then she is old enough to live where she pleases. Maybe if daddy worried more about her, when she was a little girl, and gave her a stable upbringing….he wouldn't be so worried about her, now…when she is a legal adult.

  11. 11

    Max Drummey is so cute….

  12. 12

He should have raised her better and not let her out to do red carpet events etc… at her age.

If the US immigration laws are the same as they are with everyone else, then she doesn't have much hope in just "moving to America" as they are tight on people moving to the States because of marrying a US citizen. This girl is too young and she's also been involved with drugs and anyone who has ever had bad publicity over drug use usually has a hard time getting any kind of US visa. Peaches should not be granted a visa at all, the marriage was a quick Vegas "wedding" and any sensible immigration officer who has to deal with this case would refuse a visa. If she's thinking of moving to LA, she would not be given all the privileges in getting into clubs and events for free just because of who she is, because nobody in LA knows who she is or would give a damn.

Re: SophieJane – I agree with you…in theory. Is it realistic, though? No. She married an American, so…she will be able to live in the US. If these so-called immigration officers had the manpower and resources to conduct background checks on ALL drug offenders (ON FOREIGN LANDS), we probably wouldn't have half of the drug abuse problem, that we already have.
To state the obvious….as soon as she says who her daddy is (or, when daddy Geldof makes one simple phone call), rest assured….she WILL be given privilege and access.

Sorry, Bob……You lose this one. If you want your children to grow up to be responsible teens and adults, you have to invest in that. You have to teach them with respect; in order to earn their respect. If you rule with an iron fist, you will mold an iron fist.

Maybe he should have taken her suicide attempt a little more seriously, and gotten her some help instead of covering it up for her! She seems very troubled.

First of all, you are not doing the world any good by using vulgar language in a public forum that is loaded with children; and if you are a child yourself, which is likely, then your parents didn't do a very good job of teaching you how to be a good person. Not very lady-like either.
    :l
Regarding your comment that "it's always the children of parents who try to do good in the world", in fact, it's only that you hear more news about celebrity children, because of celebrity reporting. And, its not only the children of celebrities. Open your eyes and take a look around. The first generation of "serious coke heads" are becoming grandparents; and they did not do a stellar job of raising their own children, so don't expect too much from the current youth culture.

noooo if she moves to america probably she will become famous, WE DON'T WANT THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe he should have taken her "childhood" a little more seriously. In the 70's and 80's, Bob Geldof was touring the world with his band, the Boomtown Rats. He also produced four solo albums. He went on to produce Band Aid, Live Aid, Sports Aid and Live 8, travelling the world, even attending major world events such as the 90th birthday celebrations for Nelson Mandella. He has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize three times for his charity work. He is currently writing amendments to family law regarding "father's rights", as well as being involved in a multitude of other projects.
    :l
It's not too hard to figure out that drugs were an escape for his daughter. Children do not thrive when they grow up with absentee parents (her mother died of a drug overdose when she was about 10 years old, and her father was busy travelling the world). She should have your compassion, not your attacks. She obviously felt neglected, because she was. Both of her parents put their own personal pursuits ahead of her best interests for most of her life. That does not mold a happy, healthy, well-adjusted adult.
    :l
    Stop blaming the victims.

    Re: uraPIGperez

OK 1st, I did take her attempt seriously or I would not have said that. Her father on the other hand did not! I did not slam the girl in any way, shape or form.

Also, I know who Bob is, I do not need you to tell me, and I do have some respect for him, because he did do some good things including raising the daughter of his ex and the man she left him for.

But covering up your childs suicide attempt in such a stupid lame way leads me to beleive he did nothing to get help for her.

If you hate perez so much….what are you doing here?

And I am NOT a child.

    Re: uraPIGperez

Are you just here to be annoying?

  22. 22

Andy=IQ[27] says: Who is this cunt?
    :l
I think the only appropriate woman on which to use that word, would be to the woman who raised you to be so vulgar and disrepectful.
    :l
You are not ready for the city, Jethro. Go back to Bugtustle.
    :l

  23. 23

Peaches and Miley have a second thing in common: both of their mothers were groupies, and both of them inherited the dirty girl gene.

  24. 24

kakeys=IQ[20] - If you are not a child, you are certainly talking like one, and you are obviously not capable of comprehending what you read, if you are going to state that "he did do some good things, including raising the daughter of his ex and the man she left him for."
    :l
Let me tell you why that is a ridiculous comment…Because he couldn't raise Any Children, if he wasn't present. The "point" of outlining his history, was to show that he was "Not Present" throughout most of their lives, so he could not possibly be available to them, either physically or emotionally. Do tell, how do you consider it a "good thing that he did" when he was absent throughout the childhoods of those children, and that at least one daughter is totally messed up because of it?
    :l
    You are so lame.

    Re: uraPIGperez

Are you his stalker? You sure think you know him very well! Weird!

  26. 26

Dont blame Bob - Blame Paula Yates - Her mum died via a heroin OD - Peaches is trying to emulate her mother - tis quite sad

  27. 27

Re: MizSazzie – Now, THAT would be convenient, wouldn't it? Blame the mother, who has been DEAD or the past 8 years, than to question the father…who is alive and well, and has been raising this girl.
With your way of thinking…I could blame everything on my hubby, for all of my son's detention notices and sub-standard grades. Never mind that my hubby has been dead for the past 3 years…it's all HIS fault, right?
Wrong. I would NEVER dishonor my husband's memory by blaming him for what our son has done, since his death. I love BOTH of them too much for that shit.

  28. 28

hopefully US immigration will deport her

kakeys [25] says: Are you his stalker? You sure think you know him very well! Weird!
    :l
There's your trouble. You haven't got a sensible thing to say, so you talk dribble. Informed does not equal stalker. And I don't see you responding to the issue, that you have some nerve calling Bob Geldof a good father. He was never around. He was off being a hero to the world; instead of being a hero to his children. They were raised by nannies.

Peaches Geldof is a motherfucking mess. She makes America's heiress du jour, Paris Hilton, look like a saint.

  31. 31

Re: uraPIGperez – You don't know Bob Geoldof personally so why don't you give it a rest. His eldest daughter has a normal job working in a PR firm and is never in the media spotlight. How you turn out as an adult is not solely down to your parents but also to who you are as an individual. My father died when I was nine and I spent most of my teenage years taking care of my abusive, alcoholic mother and younger brothers and sisters and I don't behave the way Peaches does. Plenty of adults in this day and age have had troubled childhoods but the most important part of becoming an adult is accepting responsibility for your actions and your future and not relying on/blaming everyone else for them. I know people who have had the most loving and stable parents and still turn out like assholes and people who have had shit childhoods and turn out alright. Peaches is a young, married adult now and she is going to have to grow up and take responsibility for her own life and as long as people like you line up excuses for her, you are disabling her from doing this.
