Fiddy's Not Talking To Arson Investigators

Why is 50 Cent acting kinda shady?
According to a new report, the rapper has still not talked to arson investigators about the massive May fire that engulfed the fancy Long Island home he and his problematic babymomma, Shaniqua Tompkins, had been fighting over.
When contacted, Fifty's lawyer would would not comment on the fire investigation and when asked if any other Fiddy reps could provide a statement he said, "No one will be speaking about that."
Recall y'all that at the time of the fire, Fifty was in Louisiana filming a movie and his publicist released a statement saying he "expressed deep concern over this fire at his property. He is extremely thankful that everyone including his son, Marquise, escaped the burning house safely. He is confident that authorities will be conducting a thorough investigation of the incident and is eager to review their findings."
However, the new report goes on to say that a fire official said investigators have not been able to conclude the investigation partly because the Fifty has not met with the arson squad. Attempts have been made through the star's attorneys to meet with him, but that he has not scheduled an interview.
Another source said he was told Fiddy's unavailability is holding up the case, although the source did not know why the Vitamin Water pitchman has been unavailable. There is no deadline requiring 50 to meet with investigators.
It was noted that throughout the month of July, Fifty was spotted at a number of NYC social events.
If he was in NY why couldn't he find time to talk to the fire squad to wrap things up?!????
The District Attorney's Office that represents the town in which Fifty's house once stood is now reportedly working with the arson investigation squad. A Long Island fire chief told the reporter that this development came in mid-August but that the case still hasn't been solved: "I think they're on to something, but they can't make an arrest without something tangible."
Neither the DA's office nor the arson squad has indicated that they have a suspect or are close to making an arrest.
It also looks like Fifty and the babymomma have found something new to fight about. Their reps were recently in court battling over the burned down home's insurance proceeds. A judge is expected to make some decisions regarding insurance monies on September 4th.

I don't know what the laws are in NY, but…seems to me, Mr. Cent CAN be STRONGLY COMPELLED to answer any questions, that the investigators may have. They just haven't tried hard enough.
If this was an average 'Joe Blow', instead of a celebrity, they would have gotten their questions answered, within a few days of the fire…regardless if the homeowner wanted to or not.
BTW…since when is the insurance proceeds disbursed, BEFORE any case is solved and closed? Something is just not right.

I still do not think he had anything to do with the fire, in a case like this the lawyer always calls the shot when the celebrity should speak to the law….it's a protection issue.

Guys I worked in investigations for 10 years. Trust me he may have not done it but, it does sound suspicious. First he is fighting with her for the house, then she is getting all gheto on him, he probably thought if you wont get out nicely I will force you out, whoever did it was probably misinformed and thought no one was in the home. I am sure he probably got pist when he found out his son was in there and someone did this but, he knew the house was gonna burn. If my home burned I would want answers quick and he is doing nothing to get this case closed or closer to the truth.
Re: Andy27 – Oh, please. Leaf through a newspaper, or watch the news, once in awhile. At least one child dies, by their parents hands, every day (I am quite sure that the stats are much higher, but I haven't researched it…it's too depressing and infuriating).
Hell, not too long ago, a man (in my area) killed his 5 month old twins and shoved them under his bed…and, he was found by the police, while sleeping on that same bed. A few years ago, a couple were arrested for keeping their daughter in a CAGE, like a dog. What about that Susan Smith bitch…who put her little ones in the car, and rolled it into the lake…while they were still alive?!?

From the start I suspected that 50 cent had something to do with this fire, Fiddy's "unavailability" is just an excuse to face the arson squad, I don't think 50 cent planned the fire, but he knew that one of his buddy's were planning to do something to "help" him with the situation 50 cent is in with his baby mama.

I am a parent of a 13yo. If, God forbid, my son narrowly escaped a fire….I would do ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING to find out who, what, where, when and why. It's what normal, caring and loving parents would do for their child(ren).
If 'Fiddy' REALLY loved and cared for his son…he would disregard the advice, from his attorneys, to keep quiet…and told everything he knew and/or believed to be true, to the investigators.
He planned and sanctioned this arson…I can feel it in my heart of hearts. Will he be caught, tried and punished? I doubt it.

I don't get how the fact that he was out of town makes him innocent. I can just hear him saying to babymomma: "F&^% U! I'll burn the F*&^$$% down B*&%^!
