More sad news.
Famed makeup artist Paul Starr has passed away.
He was only 48 years old.
Starr had more than 20 years of experience and had worked with some of the largest fashion designers, such as Dolce & Gabbana and Paul Gaultier.
He also worked with some of the top fashion photographers and movie directors like Tim Burton and Spike Lee. And he did makeup for several celebs, like Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Garner.
Unfortunately, Starr was found dead in his apartment in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Few details have been released as of yet, but a friend of Starr's says he hadn't heard from him in several days.
After non-stop knocking on his door, they finally broke it open. That's when they found his dead body.
However, a cause is still not known.
Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.

I am a make-up artist and this really saddens me,my thoughts are with his family and friends.

Maybe if you actually read the article and comprehended it then you would be able to find out the guy was a popular make-up artist who worked with fashion designers, directors, and actors. The work this guy did was obviously very important and well known within Hollywood. It is ashame he died so young. My thoughts go out to his family!

wow that's really sad
This is soo sad. I knew Paul, and he was a client of mine when I worked at Ron Teegaurden's Dragon Herbs. He used to come in with Joni Mitchel, and he was such a lovely funny person. He was so easy to talk to. I would often meet him at the Lucy's Laundrymat on Sunset Blvd in Echo Park to drop of his herbs and supplements. He will be greatly missed.
