70's sitcom star, former Van Halen groupie and current Jenny Craig spokeswhore Valerie Bertinelli just landed her very own TV series!
In the TBS pilot, she'll play a single mother of two struggling to care for the two kids and a lumber business after her husband walks out on her.
There's no title yet for the Bertinelli show.
So if this pilot gets picked up does that mean the planned talk show Bertinelli was working on will be shelved????

This is the SAME FUCKING SHOW SHE USED TO BE ON!!!! Single mother, trying to support two kids. It's about 90% the same as One Day at a Time except Valerie is better looking than Bonnie Franklin was. I can't believe this, don't ANY TV writers have ANY origional ideas?!?!?!!? I mean COME ON the Single Mother thing has been DONE. Alice, One Day at a Time, the New Adventures of Old Christine, etc….Shit, we've seen the same thing over and over and over.
She'll probably have two little kids even though she is old enough to be a grandmother, she's not funny and I think she is a super blow hard, strutting her stuff on all the talk shows she's so very proud of the fact that she had affairs and did drugs, her poor kid what role model parents he has a slutty druggie mom and an alcholic father and on top of it they name him wolfgang, they should be ashamed.
Oh, and who will they get to play the Glen Scarpeli Character…you know, the gay actor trying REALLY REALLY hard to act like he likes girls?

she was NEVER a groupie. she was a dorky kid on the sitcom "one day at a time" when she met van halen. perez, kinda immature to pass on false information. the kids nowadays do not know the difference between tongue and cheek and reality. or, maybe you're one of those kids and you actually assume bertinelli had to be a groupie to meet and marry van halen. sad sad sad.
