Re: LaLaLams – I agree with you. How could anyone want to be seen as a liar, loser, and never be believed about anything again? That's actually pretty sad. Sure, most of us knew it wasn't true, but still…If I was them, I'd want to dissapear forever.
They should be forced to make restitution to everyone who was involved in the incident - Maybe that will make them think twice about pulling such frat pranks like this in the future. It's disgusting that grown men had nothing better to do with their lives than try and lure people with such horseshit. Perhaps they need a list of community service chores to perform for the next two or three years!!

You people are missing the big issue. One of these "hoaxers" was a police officer, with all the power and authority that goes along with that position. Instead of concerning yourself with the issue of Bigfoot and the Hoax, you should be concerning yourself with the issue that someone of such limited intellect and credibility would be given all the power and authority that law enforcement is entrusted with.
