Two AP photographers were "roughed up" and foreign demonstrators attempting to peacefully protest Chinese rule in Tibet were arrested in Beijing on Thursday, according to a report from the Associated Press.

DUH it's "not cool"!! When was it we forgot that China was a Communist country??!! This is not unusual for the China authorities…..It's a minor incident in comparison to the other human rights violations that go on in China daily!! AND have been going on for centuries! Only since the Olympics is the light shining in China's face again and we're able to "see" things like this! The Olympics should NEVER have been allowed to take place in China AND America NEVER should have opened trade with China!!

Re: peace n love – americans are the only ones that say china is inhumane to tibet? my parents are both journalists in europe, and they took me to visit both tibet and china. now we interviewed both, but we eventually got things straight. the common tibetians despise the dalai lama. if your not a monk, lama has the right to take out your organs, kill you, burn you, kill your family, whatever. the monks get to live a life of simply royalty, where everybody else gets poverty and can be killed for no reason by the lama. people are right; china treats the monks badly, but only to the extent of limited rights. according to tibetians, chinese killed 400,00, according to chinese, they killed 10 for threats. only around 100 deaths have been confirmed by investigation. do you remember what happened around may? how some tibetians went into china and burned 12 teenagers at 12-15 age and tons and tons of native people who have done nothing? and china willl NEVER free tibet. because it's a part of china. its just like saying oregon wants to be an independent country. NO! its a part of america! and if tibet is ever freed, that gives a huge advantage to invaders because of its distinct spot

Are you kidding me?!?!?!? Have you ever read a true HISTORY book that the Chinese have not tailored to fit "their" version of history? Of course the Chinese are going to say tell "reporters" that Tibet is part of China! And as far as the Tibetan people despising the Dali Lama (who by the way WON A NOBEL PEACE PRIZE) have you ever heard of BRAINWASHING?!?!? It is what communism is about why do you think the Chinese people do not have the freedom to use the internet??? So they don't start THINKING for themselves….those people are scared shit less…do you know what would happen to them if the government found out they told a reporter the truth???? They would loose the little bit of freedom that they do have! And for your ramblings about what the Dali Lama taking organs etc…..have you ever studied a Buddhist text?!?!? NO they DO NOT KILL PEOPLE OR BURN THEM!!!!! Buddhism is the ONLY religion there has NEVER been a WAR fought over. When China came in to take over Tibet they could not defend themselves because they do not believe in having an army….so you might want to educate your self a little bit more before you get diarrhea of the mouth again…..
