Patrick Swayze Speaks
Good news for Patrick Swayze. The actor seems to be feeling pretty well these days, despite his medical condition. As we all know, the Dirty Dancing alum was diagnosed earlier this year with pancreatic cancer, and the odds of surviving are very slim.
Though, he's still optimistic that he'll beat the disease.
He's still even working.
Swayze is currently in Chicago filming for A&E's The Beast.
As for his health, in a new interview with In Touch Weekly, Swayze says, "I'm feeling good and doing everything that I need to do to stay healthy!"
Patrick will be back in Cali soon for his latest round of treatments, and hopefully they'll continue to work well.
He adds, "I don't have to return to California until next month for my next round of treatments. Right now, I'm taking the medication as I am scheduled to take it."
Swayze recently celebrated his 56th birthday on Monday this week, and according to everyone present, the actor looked great.
One inside source says of the birthday party, "When Patrick appeared, everyone was wearing black shirts decorated with a picture of his face and the words "Crazy for Swayze" on the front and 'The Beast' on the back. They sang 'Happy Birthday' and had a yellow birthday cake for him. He was surprised and touched."
As for his acting career, Swayze is set to continue filming on the show until November of this year.
On his offtime he's been taking it easy with his wife by his side.
Swayze says, "We have been walking our dogs and enjoying some of the restaurants. Also, we stay in the hotel so I can rest for filming."
Let's hope he continues to feel well.

He's been spotted SMOKING. How the fuck is that doing everything he can, to stay healthy? I don't get it. Although, I do wish him a full recovery and nothing but the best. I had the biggest crush on him when Dirty Dancing came out.

My Mom in law was diagnosed with pancriatic cancer in Sept. and passed away by December. Once you realize you have it its usually spread. Hopefully they caught it early. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
