The Professional Star Suffers Major Heart Attack

French actor Jean Reno, who starred alongside Natalie Portman in the modern classic The Professional, suffered a massive heart attack Wednesday while on vacation in St. Bart's.

He remains hospitalized and in intensive care, according to reports.

Interesting note — Reno and French president Nicolas Sarkozy are close friends. Sarkozy was a best man at his wedding two years ago.

      I saw the directors cut of the professional…..CREEPY, the editors at the studio did that movie a favor. In the directors cut Portman kept trying to get the guy to be her lover while he resisted…..it was like every pedophiles excuse "She is a tease!" Now I know why he divorced Mila Jovovich. She got to be 25 and grew some breasts and stopped looking like she was 15. As for Jean Reno, I hope he recovers!

      He didn't have a heart attack. He's vacationing and went to the hospital for a check up because he had heart burn..not a heart attack. He didn't even have to stay in the hospital.

      no "massive heart attack" - Jean Reno had "sharp pains" and went to the hospital - he had a heart check up that is FINE, so he'll be released soon

      that really sucks!!! The Professional was such an awesome movie and I wish they had not killed him in that movie so they could keep making more. I'm still waiting for them to do another one w/ Natalie of course!

      Jean Reno is not French; he is actually Spanish born in Morocco. He moved later on when he was a teen.

      Heart Attack? I heard he had tummie-trouble (stomach flu) while on vacation in Martinique, but an attack? He worked with an underaged Natalie Portman, how can a man like that have a weak heart?!!
