Here's an interesting theory behind the baby name!
Judging from their babies' names, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale must be huge Bob Marley fans! And probably big stoner too!
Their newest baby is named Zuma Nesta Rock.
'Nesta' is Bob Marely's middle name, too!
Gwen and Gavin's eldest son is named Kingston.
The capital of Bob Marley's native Jamaica is Kingston!

That's lovely, since my finance has been trying for months to get me to agree to name our son Nesta. (I'm due @ the end of October). I keep telling him that nobody American would name a little boy Nesta - it sounds too much like a girl's name. I'm sure he'll hear about this today… Now he'll have another reason to plead his case that Nesta isn't a girl's name.

Since then I discovered all of his albums, his bios and traveled to jamaica every year. And i dont stay in resorts… I stay on a parish near Kingston called Saint Thomas; in the mountains with a Rasta family. Met many rastas, many don't even smoke pot at all…. some do, it's not to be stone, it's very spiritual. glad i discovered Bob the way i did, really understanding his lyrics and not just the music. I now listen to a lot more than bob marley, any jamaican musicians from the late Peter Tosh, to Richie Spice, Capleton and Jr Gong to name a few. no need to be a stoner.

If they named him after Zuma beach (Malibu), that's cool. It's a pretty beach and pays homage to her Cali roots, while honoring Jamaica/Marley w/ the second name "Nesta" and Rock for her music career. If she is so into reggae and ska, couldn't she think of someone other to name her kid after? Bob Marley - great guy - overplayed by millions.
