Helena Bonham Carter has been granted indefinite leave from the set of her new movie, Terminator Salvation , in Albuquerque, New Mexico to fly back to the U.K. to comfort her distraught family.
The thespian lost four members of her family last week. They died in a car crash while out on a South African safari.
One of the deceased was only 14-years old!
A source says, "Everyone here was in a state of shock when the news came through. I saw an assistant of Helena's who told me she is absolutely stricken with grief. She can't believe what happened."
So sad.

Awful to hear. I am glad she is given the time to mourn in peace and not have to focus on work at the moment. Stay strong Helena!

OMG! I am so sorry for her and the family ! i give my condolences to her and i will pray for the family! my brother died last year from a diving accident !These things are so terrible its hard to live through such a loss!!!

Re: memento mori People die. Get used to it – I'm curious to know where you're at in your life. My experience tells me that, if you truly love people, you NEVER get used to loosing them when they die.
That's so sad, she's a great actress and I really like her. I'll pray for her and her family.
