Personally, I would rather be 'trashy and true to myself' than 'wealthy and playing games' (while trying to give the paparazzi, and fans, 'blue balls').
Miley's father, Billy Ray, became an overnight sensation for one so-called song (I don't consider it a song, but, that is neither here, nor there)…and, he took a rapid downhill spiral, from there, when he couldn't come up with a follow up single.
I am willing to bet that he imposed his thoughts and beliefs onto his daughter….to do whatever she can to stay in the 'public eye'. And, that includes becoming a 'sex symbol'…regardless of her age. Shame on him, if it is true.

I am thankful to the whole Hannah Montana empire. My daughter has developed a love of music thanks to Miley Cyrus and is taking guitar lessons at 7 years old. She loves it! No matter how much haters try to bring her down, she just keeps getting better and letting the hate roll off of her back. This is my favorite 15 year old in the world. Some 25 year olds "wish" they were so poised and in control as to deal with all of the crap Miley has endured over the past year. Having experienced fame's ugly side at such a young age and working through it, is giving her an education and inner strength on how to deal with life like no other lesson can.

Those other Disney brats would be wise not to pack themselves too tightly into a "perfection" box. When you are young, famous, rich, and seemingly good, someone will ALWAYS try to take you down. Just look at how this site constantly slanders Miley. I hope they are all taking notes and seeing how to handle such adversity. Miley exemplifies the word "class" and those spreading hate and venom are the poster children for "trash."
