According to reports, if Disney wants Zac Efron back for a fourth installment of High School Musical, they're going to have to pay him handsomely.
HSM3 isn't even out in theaters yet - that's released in October - but Disney is already planning a fourth one.
And, Zac's reported price tag???

It depends on the box office for HSM3. If it makes a crapload of money, then $10 million for a HSM4 makes absolute sense. But if it fizzles out, there is no way he would deserve it. I think at this point the HSM movies are the only ones he deserves $10m for. He has not proven that he can break out a movie to big box office. Huge TV ratings, yes. Big box office, no.

Why are they even making another HIGHSCHOOL Musical? In the third one, aren't they supposed to be graduating from HIGHSCHOOL? What happens? Do they all flunk and have to go another year? lmao. And they couldn't do the college one as hardly all friends end up going to the same college….The only way I figure they could do this is if Zack's character helps out in a highschool (but I'm sure he would need college first.) or it was the summer after the college year. (God, don't give them any ideas!) Disney is turning out to be pretty money hungry.
