We don't mind that it's shorter - like that, actually - but it seems like he got his hair relaxed. And it doesn't look good!

Whoa….first?!?!?! Actually it doesn't really look relaxed to me, but maybe just gelled funny. I don't know why they'd relax naturally curly hair especially on his beautiful head!

C'mon Perez, you're not that…naive. People with curly hair, you cut it off and it looks straight. For many people it's straight at the root and curls as it gets longer. That said, there's nothing straight or relaxed about his hair. Looks quite kinky, quite frankly.
