Too little, too late, John Edwards!
Adulterer and liar Johnny has been calling ex-staffers and supporters, asking for forgiveness. But the only thing he's apparently getting back are cold shoulders and heaping piles of shiz thrown his way!
According to the NY Daily News, some ignore phone outreach efforts and don't call back - even when Edwards leaves follow-up messages.
A few supposedly return his calls only to give him a piece of their angry minds.
When Edwards reportedly reached one longtime confidant asking for advice, he was cut off with a terse, "I don't want you to call me again."
Looks like someone's getting what they deserve!

Fuck asking for forgiveness. He's a guy. He fucked around on his main girl, so what? It's not the end of the world, and he's certainly not the first or last man on eart to cheat and lie. His dick. He should be able to do with it whatever he wants, without the public scrutiny and criticism.

John Edwards is a public figure with a desire to manage public policy therefore when he gets caught lying….he bears the brunt of public SCREW-tiny . His downfall comes from his hubris. I'm glad this is out now and should the Dem's win in November, we won't be seeing him as Attorney General or Secretary of State or some other top spot. Perhaps he can run for his local school board or city council.

The only forgiveness he needs to seek is that of his wife and from God. He has disgraced himself, his public office, his family and everyone who he has ever associated with. The whore he cheated with knew he was married and purposely got knocked up with a bastard child anyway. It is clear she's as scummy as he is. I think they should both get neutered/spayed and dropped off somewhere that they can't ruin anymore lives.
If his wife had once ounce of dignity left. she would divorce him, take everything, He should have to start over financially with his new whore and see how quicly she run for the door. Their child should be taken from them and given to a two parent family that will raise it with morals and values.
