Keith Urban Injured!

Keith Urban is a true performer.
The musician has been diagnosed with a slipped disc, but, according to his publicist, that's not going to stop him from going on stage.
During his concert on Saturday night in Kelseyville, California, Keith made a slight reference to his back problems, though he never cancelled the show.
And, now, his publicist, Paul Freundlich, has confirmed the news that Urban is suffering from a slipped disc. He declined to elaborate on the cause or how sever the injury is.
Urban's got a few more gigs lined up in the coming weeks, so he's going to be a busy guy.
This weekend he'll be traveling to perform in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Then he's off to NY.
His publicist added, "Next stop New York City for his performance at Fashion Rocks and the NFL's Kickoff Show to take place in Columbus Circle in front of an estimated 70,000."
Let's hope all of this doesn't make his back any worse.
Don't take too many pain pills, it may lead you back to rehab!

I was at that concert and he was awesome. He mentioned his back, but otherwise there was no way to tell he was in pain. His band members are amazing singers too. Sarah Buxton opened for him, she wrote "Stupid Boy" and she was great too and adorable.
Hmmm… I wonder how he got that slipped disc. I sure hope that it wasn't somehow my fault!

I have played softball, and volleyball with multiple sprained fingers, ankles and wrists….but, the one time that I was laid out with back pain (and it wasn't even a slipped disc), I couldn't do a damn thing until it 'let up'.
No, I don't believe that Urban was able to perform with a slipped disc…unless he was on some major meds ( such as vicodin and/or oxycontin).
The spine holds up the entire body (when STANDING is vital)…when it goes out, the whole body goes out.

WELL, he's actually headlining a HUGE ten-hour country concert here on Saturday, also featuring Gretchen Wilson, Johnny Reid, Aaron Pritchett, Great Big Sea & Jimmy Rankin (those last two are a big deal here!), among others! PLEASE GOD let him still be able to play, people here have been looking forward to this since even before last Christmas!!!!!
