Obama Assassination Attempt Foiled

There sure are some crazies out there!
Currently, the FBI is investigating claims of an alleged assassination plot against Presidential hopeful Barack Obama.
Four people were arrested near the Democratic convention in Denver. They were in possession of high-powered rifles.
Scary!!!
Nathan Johnson (pictured above on the right), is denying any involvement in the plot, but he did admit that his friends "were here to do that - to assassinate him."
Apparently, the plan was to shoot Obama "from a high vantage point … with a … rifle."
This all came about on Sunday, when police arrested 28 year-old Tharin Gartrell (above left), who was erratically driving a rented pickup truck.
That's where they found two high-powered rifles with telescopic sites. They also found walkie-talkies in his truck, along with camouflage clothing, a bulletproof vest, two wigs, a high-powered spotting scope, three IDs with unknown identities, and methamphetamine.
When Gartrell was accompanied to his hotel in Denver by the police, a second man, 33 year-old Shawn Robert Adolf, jumped out from a window and injured himself. He jumped from six-stories high.

Adolf broke his ankle after the fall, but was arrested shortly afterwards. He also had several outstanding warrants against him. And according to sources, he was also wearing a ring with a swastika on it and is believed to have connections to white supremacist organizations.
Johnson added that Gartell and Adolf "planned to kill Barack Obama at his acceptance speech." He said that his friends told him, Barack "don’t belong in political office – or blacks don’t belong in political office. He gotta be shot."
As for the fourth person arrested, it's an unidentified woman who was with Johnson though she is not believed to have any involvement with the plot, however other arrests are still a possibility.
US Attorney Troy Eid insisted that there was no clear danger to the candidates or convention delegates.
Eid said in a recent statement, “Federal law enforcement is working hand-in-glove with the Aurora Police Department. Because this matter is currently under investigation, there is little we can say right now. We can say this: We’re absolutely confident there is no credible threat to the candidate, the Democratic National Convention, or the people of Colorado."
And if Obama isn't doing so yet, we highly suggest he wear a bulletproof vest. And wear it all the time.

Funny, but if you check the news they said the investigation amount to nothing. Nobody was charge…Perez, I find interesting that you did not report the envelopes with white power that last week were sent to McCain campaign offices.
I worry more about McCain safety. The reason? Obama's associations with terrorists like William Ayers who bomb the Capital, The Pentagon and the State Dept. Mr. Ayers was a member of "The Weather Underground" that conduct at least 12 bombings all over the USA in then70's.
