Tragedy Strikes Dr. Dre's Family

According to multiple reports (here and here), Dr. Dre's son passed away this weekend.
The body of 20-year-old Andre Young Jr. was allegedly found at his family's Woodland Hills, California, home Saturday morning.
Young Jr. was unresponsive when his mother went to check on him around 10 A.M., calling 911 to alert paramedics.
Andre was said to have been out the previous night and returned home at 5.30 A.M.
Young Jr.'s cause of death is unknown at this time. Officials are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination, including a toxicology report.
Our condolences and thoughts to Dr. Dre and his family during this difficult time.

This is so sad. This is happing to everyone, young and old. It's time the perscription drug companies start getting sued for killing
innocent American's. Pot doesn't hurt us and it cures cancer, but they won't let us have that..they want to kill us with their PILLS.

How sad….I am 20 also and it is just heartbreaking to see the extremely young pass away.

As a parent, I know that this is the worst nightmare. It's not for us to contemplate the manner of death. My thoughts are with the family at this time. This should not EVER happen.

my roommate is in woodland hills with her family right now. she is very close to the young family. so there you go. thats the cause of death.

We kill ourselves with pills that they sell intending to help people and save lives. People like you are the reason that marijuana will never be legalized. It doesnt cure cancer. Nothing you SMOKE will ever cure cancer. Cancer patients use it to relieve pain and to maintain an appetite. Those cancer patients are only alive long enough to start smoking weed because a PHARMACEUTICAL company made chemicals that help them fight cancer. Andre was and still is one of my best friend for many years, and the last thing he would have wanted was for people to just immediately start blaming pills for his death.

What a shame.. Dre was and still is one of my best friends.. Talk about wasted talent.. He died while enjoying some of the happiest moments in his life.
