Did 90210 (2.0) land themselves a trouble maker on the set????
According to the Australian media, one of the new kids in (2.0) had a bit of a troubled past down under!
Chantelle Barry, who'll play one of the girls in the popular group, was basically black balled out of Australia!
Barry was in a Danity Kane-type band called Bardot with Benji Madden's ex fiance, Sophie Monk.
Barry was eventually kicked out of the band becuase Monk accused the new 90210 cast member of stealing money from her.
The brunette fled Sydney in 2000 after the theft claims, which she repeatedly denied and which cost her a chance at fame in Oz.
Luck looks to be on Chantelle's side now.
She's in one of the most anticipated shows of the season!

a) to call someone a thief without knowing the entire story is bullshit. learn the whole story. remember innocent before PROVEN guilty? and b) when she runs into Sophie Monk in L.A.? granted they are both in the biz, but L.A. is a huge place, so i highly doubt they just 'run into' one another that often.
Are you sure this isn't yet another one of the many Kardashian sisters using an alias…? She DOES look like Kim Kardashian. Sophie Monk has done nothing of any interest to anyone since "Date Movie" with Alison Hannigan and that was a few years ago now. She's famous for nothing other than having dated Benji Madden from Good Charlotte and probably fucked a few producers to try and get some work, because she's had no luck in Hollywood and should go back to Australia where they (sort of) still care. I remember seeing Sophie at a Green Day concert in Sydney back in 2005 and she was trying so hard to get attention from the band, but nobody had ever heard of her. Tre Cool even asked one of their crew who she was when she showed up at Green Day's hotel!!
It's okay to hype about this new Beverly Hills 90210 show, but none of us know whether it will be huge success, it might fall flat and be a flop. Only time will tell…

I watched Popstars (the show that created the band that Chantelle and Sophie were in) and I'm not surprised she left. None of the girls liked her. It wasn't just Sophie.

I'm an Aussie and i remeber this stupid bitch from popstars…all she did the whole time was whinge and complain and bitch with the other girls who were really trying, she thought she was the best singer and she DID steal cause she was poor (always wearing shitty tacky clothes etc). She went on a current affairs show here to "defend" herself but wouldn't do it unless she got paid!! I hope she falls flat on her face.
P.S - Sophie Monk was always (and still is) a sweet, down to earth and REAL girl….i admit she is a bit of a ditz but she isn't a whore. She had the same boyfriend for like years here in Aus and only broke up when she moved to the US and they couldn't do the long distance thing.
