I was Impressed. He may have been immoral, but damn what a great guy. GO OBAMA!

  7. 7

    he's brilliant.

  8. 8

He was amazing! Sure made me miss the good ol' days when our president wasn't a shady moron.

  9. 9

Tore it up!! converted Obama Supporter!!

  15. 15

    very democratic.loved it.

  16. 16

    LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM….I LIVE!!!

  17. 17

Wish I would've been his intern, back in the day…

  18. 18

Despite not agreeing with all of his actions (or anyones for that matter) he is just so charismatic and you can't help but like him. I want to pal around with old Bill.

  19. 19

    Who cares?!!! McCain for president!!!

  20. 20

I might have some thoughts…if fuckin' Comcast didn't slow my internet service down to sloth-speed.

  21. 21

    Great job Hillary and Bill.

  22. 22

My favorite speech of the convention so far. If there is any resentment towards Obama it certainly wasn't evident in this speech. What a night! What an historic day! Now if only people on the fence would come to their senses and realize that Mccain will continue driving our country and our quality of life as Americans right into the ground. Vote Obama!!

  23. 23

There was a chick giving him a blowjob under the podium.

  24. 24

Do all you democrats know that if Obama is president.. for Capital Gains Tax:
MCCAIN = 0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples) McCain does not propose any change in existing home sales income tax.

OBAMA = 28% on profit from ALL home sales. How does this affect you? If you
sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes.

This is SCARY! This is just a little bit of what you will be paying if Obama is our future president! This sucks and scares the heck out of me!

  25. 25

for those of you that like clinton, you do realize that he is partly the reason why september 11th happened, right?? its not like it was planned the first 9 months that bush was president. clinton bares some responsibility as well. remember that before you start oohhing and ahhhing all over him.

  26. 26

Sick of the Clinton love fest

  27. 27

just watched it. great guy. he lead the best 4 years the country had.

  28. 28

Slick Willy did what he had to do because he's the consummate politician and always will be. Hillary probably had a room full of hookers waiting for him because she's got her eye on 2012 and she'll do anything to win.

  29. Bree says – reply to this

    29

Many did not agree with his actions (I dont either) but he was an awesome president. Our economy was never better!!! I think he just sucked it up and supported his party, though I am certain he doesnt particularly care for Obama.

  30. 30

Ok, he definitely stepped up and did the right thing and with his usual oral prowess. Also quite impressed with Biden - excellent choice. Usually too cynical to get behind any party I am actually really feeling the Dems - great convention all around, excellent speeches helped to define the lines between parties I can tend to feel are both too central. I am now convinced - the Dems are at this time on the right side of history - to steal an analogy from BC)!

  31. 31

I heard that the part about him wanting a blow job was edited out.

  32. 32

This man is ELECTRIFYING, charismatic, and engaging… Wow!! I was too young to understand politics when he was president, but I have heard great things about his policies, either way, he gets a free pass from me. THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT BILL… WOW!!

  33. 33

Clinton is the best! For all those who want misery for the next four years vote republican!

  34. 34

WHAT DO YOU MEAN "THOUGHTS" YOU BLOB HEAD. HE IS THE MOST AMAZING PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF WORLD LEADERS. FAT FUCKER.

  35. 35

i wish bill was still president.

  36. 36

    I still like him.

  37. 37

when will you ignorant people let the monica thing go? honestly, we know it's all you people have to bash him on, but MOVE ON. one thing to end that conversation: when bill clinton left office, we were out of debt and had global respect. george w. leaves office: we owe our country over a trillion dollars and are the most despised nation on the planet.

he was brilliant. you could tell that he meant what he was reading. not even george's best/highest paid speech write could instill that kind-of passion.

  38. 38

Re: talgrem – your a fuking idiot, learn fact b4 accusations, bush didnt cause 911 nor did clinton terrorist planned it long ago get you facts straight dumbass. and btw this democrat is voting mcCain so are the 18 million cracks Hillary you sellout..

  39. becks says – reply to this

    39

Re: talgrem – You do know that part of 9/11 was in retaliation for something that happened during the first Bush's presidency and it's a common theory that if Gore had been given the presidency as he should have (What with winning the popular vote and all) that 9/11 wouldn't have happened due to the fact that the son of the man who started the feud wasn't in office.

I love Bill Clinton. Like JFK before him he was the perfect example that running a country has nothing to do with your personal life. Bill Clinton made mistakes in his personal life, hell who doesn't? But he was a fabulous president. The country was doing FANTASTIC when he was in office (for example when I got my license under Clinton gas was 1.00 a gallon and sometimes I paid 90 cents). I couldn't care less what he did in his personal life. Neither did people back in the 60s with JFK who was a perpetual adulterer like his father before him.

The Clintons did a lot for this country and I think Hillary would have done a lot were she made president. I think Obama made a mistake not giving her the VP but I think he's in the mind that if he runs with a white man he'll bring in votes he wouldn't get if it were a black man/woman ticket. I love Bill Clinton. It's speeches like his tonight that makes me wish he could pull an FDR and come back for another term.

  40. 40

Hillary should have been the nominee. Sorry to say, but it is true. America needs to now shift focus on the sexism that is rampant in this country and is just as detrimental as racism. Her speech was presidential-like, and that my friends, there is no denying it.

  41. 41

Re: talgrem – TALGREM-your comments are a mere example of ignorance. Why don't you conduct a little more research instead of assuming everything that our televisions tell us to believe. Although in 1996, Clinton did withdraw from an attempt to assasinate a high member of Al Queda, the details are obscured by different sides telling different stories. A strong president will always choose alternative choices than turn to violence to resolve threats to our country. 911 did happen and as unfortunate as it was, it is almost as unfortunate as the decisions made after by our pathetic leader and his administration.

  42. 42

Bill is brilliant, charismatic, and a natural. But I still won't vote for Obama. Can't stand him.

  43. tetzy says – reply to this

    43

    I'm a Democrat & always have been.

/still not voting obama - being attractive is NOT a qualification for the Presidency.
//pains me, but yeah; I'm voting McCain - besides, only a fool believes obama's going to end the war; there would be carnage in that god forsaken country.

    Hilary for President 2012!

  44. 44

Re: KitKat1 – you took the words right out of my mouth! Hilary would have made a brilliant president, actually she would have made history, but I will put my faith in Obama that he will carry on with the issues she fought so vigorously for in her campaign.

  45. 45

, I was inspired by Senator Hillary Clinton’s speech. She gave the speech of her career thus far in politics Tuesday night at the Democratic National Convention. It was a bad night for Hillary haters everywhere. Clinton’s speech left me (and many others), wondering why she is not the Presidential nominee let alone on the ticket with Obama. She is clearly a strong woman who could easily have been the next President. She did after all earn 18 million votes. From the very beginning, Clinton was subjected to the vitriol of the media and blogosphere, demonstrating that we may be making strides against racism but sexism is indeed as rampant as ever in our society, and just as detrimental. Pundits on every major news outlet complained that she wasn’t compassionate and if she did show emotion, she was dismissed as inadequate. Hillary Clinton personifies the ideals that every young girl and woman alike holds dear: to be treated fairly and equal to men in every endeavor. That is why this whole process has become bittersweet for many Clinton supporters. Voters must now do what is best for the country. Not only did Senator Clinton endorse Barack Obama, but she did it in a way that was positive and uplifting, showing her effort to unify the Democratic Party. Clinton ran a campaign to be proud of, and her legacy will live on.

  46. 46

I think he did a great job; he came forward as Hillary did the night before, and spoke about why we desperately need change (reform) in this country and don't more need sour grapes. We need to work hard for all of America and cannot afford more of McSame.

I say this after being a McCain supporter for many years; go Obama!

  47. 47

    ***************************************************************************************

This just proves why we need another eloquent and intelligent person in the White House - they have the power to inspire and encourage the American people to do great things and make this the best country in the world. Bill Clinton is one of the best Presidents we have ever had, a phenomenal speaker, and Barack Obama will be the same.

THE TIME FOR CHANGE IS NOW. VOTE TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! OBAMA 2008

Bill Clinton and Senator John Kerry did a fantastic job of pointing out what is most important. If you haven't seen it, google Kerry's DNC speech. Both speeches combined EFFECTIVELY addressed the question of leadership. Overall, a fine hour for the DNC.

  50. 50

    OMG Bill Clinton Is Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  51. 51

OMG Meghan McCain, quit trying to infiltrate!

Fear tactics don't work anymore!!!! Quit trying to scare people into voting for your father!!

    52

    Re: megmarie – POST 28
YOUR STATEMENT on Obama home Tax is FALSE! Why do you people keep posting these lies that are so easily traceable? You left off the rest of that urban legend email so I'll include it for people to LAFF at! Smoke and mirrors will NOT WORK this time! People Google 28% tax on home/ Obama and use factcheck.org to read the entire bogus email. There are a number of links that prove the email as False but Factcheck.org goes into detail on that bogus Republican fear tactic. If you care about the truth and want America to avoid another 4-8 years of misery check the facts that people post to play on your fears and blind your from the truth.

  53. 53

Re: noneoftheabove – I tend to share your sentiments in that the right thing to do was to pick HC as the VP. The fact that he didn't is a strong indicator that he himself hasen't moved on from the primary campaign. It is ridiculous if you think about it. That move alone demonstrates a "politics as usual" stance, not the "change" that Obama supporters are so feverishly chanting.

  54. Minx says – reply to this

    54

My heart goes out to Hilary supporters that are hurt she didn't win. With that said, you have to decide if you voted for her b/c of her or b/c of the issues she supported. I can understand if a Hilary supporter sits out of voting, however; if you are voting for McCain b/c Hilary didn't win then you don't care about the issues she stands for nor whats at stake, more importantly if you have a Republican president seating the next 3 LIFETIME judges kiss the dream of equal pay for equal work goodbye, kiss your rights to choice goodbye and kiss any gay rights goodbye as well. It's ok to like Hilary but what matters most is the AGENDA, things thatdirectly effect YOUR LIFE. Google John Kerry's DNC speech, he sums it all up quite well.

  55. 55

Re: Minx – I agree with your comments. I just think that this country needs to address the sexism that continues to be a hindrance to women all over. Clinton supporters who believe in Democracy, who believe in the Agenda will vote for Obama for the good of the country, and only for that reason.

  56. Minx says – reply to this

    56

    Re: KitKat1
    First and foremost thank you.
America has a plethora of social ills it needs to address and as a woman I understand your points completely. Racism, Sexism, Nepotism and an intolerant attitude against anything "not the norm" (gay rights) will stop when We The People put our foot down and say enough is enough.

  57. 57

    LOVE HIM. LOVE THE CLINTONS!!!!

  58. Minx says – reply to this

    58

Some of you SUPPOSED Hilary supporters sure sound like a bunch of Republican wolves in sheep clothing. Genuine Hilary supporters know I am not referring to them and will not take offense. Hilary supporters know how I feel about them in post 56. Goodnight!

  59. 59

    NO WAY
    NO HOW
    NO MCCAIN

    Love the Clintons!

  60. 60

Amazing speech! I love Bill! Hey, did anyone notice that the band played "Addicted to Love" after Prez Clinton left the stage? I thought it was funny…….

  61. 61

He's a real 90s hero. No matter what he did with that Lewinsky woman, you can't get away from the fact that he was a really good president. And should be remembered for that.

  62. 62

Thanks for the video clips over the past few days, Perez. Despite their foibles, I prefer the (now) old-school Clintons to the Obamas, the latter who, IMO, figured out how to play the caucuses, and exploit Obama's personal talents in those venues, thus winning the nomination in a very different way than ever before… Let's hope these and whatever other tactics they muster can win in the general election too, as McSwain-the-tool as pres. feels as disgustingly perverse as Bush 2.

  63. 63

Comments? They are still the lying kooks they were when THEY were President in the 90s.

The comparison to McCain and Bush was just even beneath them. Wait, no it's not.

The Clinton's are known for their lies. So when they do, it doesn't surprise anyone.

  64. 64

Re: megmarie Do all you democrats know that if Obama is president.. for Capital Gains Tax: MCCAIN = 0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples) McCain does not propose any change in existing home sales income tax. I am pretty positive NO ONE here knows what you are talking about. Well most people here. I do, but then again I am not voting for someone just because they are a good speaker and make a better SUPERSTAAAAAH

  65. 65

Re: talgrem for those of you that like clinton, you do realize that he is partly the reason why september 11th happened, right?? its not like it was planned the first 9 months that bush was president. clinton bares some responsibility as well. remember that before you start oohhing and ahhhing all over him.

I wouldn't blame Clinton for 9/11. But had he done something the FIRST TIME that they tried to destroy the WTC building 9/11 might not have ahppened. If he didn't cut military and intelligence spending IN HALF to "balance the budget" 9/11 might not have happened. But I would NEVER blame HIM for the actions. Maybe the ability for them to happen, but never the actions. And yes, anyone that blamed Bush for is a moron. Bush was barely in office.

  66. 66

Re: Obnoxious Joe He's a real 90s hero. No matter what he did with that Lewinsky woman, you can't get away from the fact that he was a really good president. And should be remembered for that.

We must have grown up in a different 90s. And no one cared about what he did with Lewinsky. It was the other 2-3 women taking him to court for being a sexual predator that he was being tried for. We cared a bit about that. And the whole LYING under oath to make the very people he was voted in to protect, out to be liars when he was the one lying. Not only that he's been one of the few presidents that has been impeached.

BTW Clinton had nothing to do with the 90s economy (ask any economist during the time) and the budget he "balanced" he did so by cutting military and defense and intelligence spending in half. See the Clinton's didn't like the Military and vice versa. You know Bubba was a draft dodger too.

Yet no one called him a liar when he bombed and killled a ton of people in Iraq cause he said they HAVE NUKES.

  67. 67

IN 1992 THE CLINTONS WENT TO THE WHITE HOUSE TO FIX THINGS
    - The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance
- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates*
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- First president accused of rape.
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case
- First president to establish a legal defense fund.
- First president to be held in contempt of court
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad
- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court
IN 2008 LETS SEND THEM BACK TO FINISH THEIR JOB oh wait, too late, Hillary lost.

  68. 68

AWESOME — that's all I have to say — it's great to see a REAL Leader instead of our current president.

  69. 69

AWESOME — it's great to see a REAL leader instead of our current president. Go Bill!

  70. 70

Whom did he leave a semen stain on tonight? He will always be tainted by Lewinsky…..

  71. 71

No one will ever be as great as Bill Clinton. I want him for president again. Bill and Hillary excite me and that's very hard to do. If obama is even one-tenth of Bill, we'll be lucky, but obama will still lose.

  72. 72

    Re: Sharonzev
Eat shit bitch, you wish his semen was on you. Blowjobs ain't shit. Killing thousands of people all in the name of oil is a big fucking deal, you whore.

  73. 73

    Re: KitKat1

    AMEN.

  74. 74

Everyone loves Bill Clinton. Talk about charm! Obama is still going to lose and there are two major reason's. One, he was above picking Hilary, even though she did her all for him…and two, that he is trying to take away America's guns. That shit don't fly.
    McCain all the way.

  75. 75

I would love to get Bill on the back of my crotchrocket. That man has something about him that makes you love him. He's special.

  76. 76

    Re: KevinK

We need more of you around here. I don't agree with everything you are saying about Clinton, but damn, you hit it on the head about Obama and the types that tend to support him.

  77. 77

That was a great speech! Fantastic. And I'm not crazy 4 Obama, either…but I was so impressed with Bill, as usual.

  78. 78

I'm sure Obama has promised Hillary Clinton a seat in the government if he wins.

  79. 79

They have covered their bases now. She is going to take another run at in in 4 years anyway. I don't think Obama has the groceries to win.
    BodyRock.Tv

  80. 80

I wish the Clinton's were my parents. I would love to be around them all the time. They are truly amazing.

  81. 81

I want to take him also in the woods. I took Hilary, she was alot of fun. Bill will be so much fun. Did you see how long his finger's are? Ugga wugga wigwam, wow!

  82. 82

Re: KevinK – Really, and what about the bush/cheney bunch? don't act like the clinton's were worse than them, cause they are not! I might have to climb in this computer and bust you ugly face off! At least they didn't kill our kids or take our money and jobs. Think McFly, think!

  83. 83

    perez ur fat

  84. 84

Okay, where should we begin with Mr. Clinton. The Monica thing aside, he lied UNDER OATH, he was offered Osama Bin Laden and didn't take him, which could have prevented 9-11. Whitewater. USS Cole. And before he and Hillary left the Whitehouse at the end of his presidency they STOLE and VANDALIZED things in the Whitehouse. He pardoned over 50 felons on his way out. He has become a parody of himself. I can't believe the lovefest for the Clintons. Give me a break

  85. 85

    Re: KevinK
Kevin, we want to beat you asshole. Don't say bad things about the best President that America has ever seen. The only way that anyone could be better than him, is if it was Hilary. Look at you, you are nothing. You shouldn't even have an opinion. What have you ever done for America? Did you create jobs? Stfu, asshole.

  86. 86

Re: KevinK – KevinK. . . . I LOVE YOU!! :) It just made my morning to read that SOMEONE on here knows what they are talking about. I nearly choked on my coffee when I read that comment about the Clintons not being shady!! Thanks for clearing it up for everyone.

Also, let's not forget that just a few months ago, both Clinton's and Biden were singing McCain's praises, saying he'd be a great president. . . now he's "McSame"? They were also speaking about Obama not being ready for the job of commander in chief. . . now they are worshipping him for political gain. UGH. Don't be fooled by "moving" political speeches and an aldulterers charm. As good as you may think those speeches were, they were total BS.

    ***McCain2008***

  87. 87

Re: Jembabemba – And all of that is so much worse than cheney/bush killing hundreds of thousands of people, and breaking this economy and people losing their homes and jobs.
You're dumb. If that's the worst things that Clinton's did to us and our kids, we are lucky.

I used to have respect for you, you were one of the few level headed Repubs on here. You just shot your credability via supporting a proven lie. Obama has no such taxes in place, see post 54. I've written this many times, you don't have to like the guy but do not lie on hom. Smoke and mirrors, divide and conquer tactics will not work this time. Get over it.

  89. 89

    Re: jaycie
No one is worshipping osama bin laden. We are worshipping clinton's. Big difference. Everyone knows that mccain will win.

  90. 90

Re: BabyJokerSisterz – Ummm. . . if KevinK is a tax paying citizen, he has done PLENTY to help America!! :) And you saying that he is a "nobody" who doesn't deserve the right to have an opinion is communist, not democratic. Sooo. . . considering your ideology, why should we take you seriously when you proclaim that Clinton was the "best president America has ever seen"? Lincoln, who tried to keep and bring our nation back together and end slavery, didn't win your title as best president? Or FDR who ended the depression and brought us through WWII? Kennedy. . . Cuban missile crisis anyone?

    Re: KevinK
Impressive list one problem: Bill Clinton has the best Presidential track record in US history in terms of what he has accomplished for this country. The man may have been morally bankrupt but he kicked ass period. Repubs have a lot of dirt in their closets as well so acting as champions of morality is laughable considering some are closeted homosexuals, cheating on their spouses and aren't model parents… the difference is their dirt haven't come to light… yet. If you want to talk about cronies , McCain's voting 95% in step w/ Bush, stating he knows nothing of the economy nor healthcare ( 30 yrs. "experience" include), refusing to talk to our "enemies" ( until Obama did it) and hinting war w/ Iran smells like Bush 2.0 to me.

you don't have to take anyone's word. The man has the best track record period. He may have been morally bankrupt but he proved to be an excellent president. Try seperating the personal from the business. Keep combining the two and we'll have to get rid of 99% of the people in government!

  95. 95

I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED CLINTON! HE WAS SET UP WITH THE MONICA LEWINSKI THING, EVEN THOUGH HE DID DO IT, BECAUSE HE WASN'T A WAR MONGER!

  96. 96

He was amazing! Obama 08 Baby!

  97. 97

Yay!!! Bill did a fantastic job last night. I'm so proud to be an Obama supporter!

  98. 98

He's a champion in every way. The entire speech was endearing and inspiring. As for the last 5 minutes- HE HIT A HOMERUN!!!

So to all of you still on the fence… maybe you were Hillary supporters (as was I), maybe you have just yet to decide… You need to ask yourselves, do you honestly want more of the same? We absolutely need a change. So many people are struggling financially now that it's frightening. It's because for the last 8 years we have had a right wing way of thinking calling the shots. I can't think of ONE person I know who is better off today than during the Clinton administration. Really think logically about that. Name one person you know who has prospered in the last 8 years. I'd think you'd be lying to yourself if you could name one! It's time to stand together and be the country we know we can be. We've done it before, and we can do it AGAIN!

  99. 99

Re: MISS CLEO – Wow, so eloquently said! I could listen to your thoughts on Billy forever! *insert eye roll*
