Smoker's paradise lost!
According to a new report, a California sheriff's helicopter patrol guided deputies to a $150 million marijuana garden in the Hemet, CA area on Wednesday.
The 'garden' was first spotted on Monday.
Authorities say the marijuana was in various stages of growth and a substantial amount of the pot was ready for distribution.
There were no arrests.
Are they really going to let all those good plants go to 'waste'?

Marijuana should be legal and the government should tax it. That would help our money problems. I think prostitution should also be legal and taxed. The government is so shady….

Would someone please explain to me why every year, during August or September, there is a huge marijuana field bust somewhere in the U.S.A., that is originally detected by law enforcement helicopter patrols.

Are raw marijuana plants a unique shade of green that really stands out from surrounding foliage? Do the cops wear specially tinted glasses that allow them to detect the color of these plants from the air?

I think indoor they can use infared and detect electricity usage. Outdoor I beleive its just a matter of the pigs flying low or getting a tip-off. Allinall it just becomes more obvious when its a large operation like this. Cops are aimed to take down moneymaking operations, whereby someone will make money without there consent, tax free. Hence some say why not legalize it and tax it?

Back when I was a kid growing up in New Orleans, they would find a pot field and the police would burn it where it stood. It would be announced, time and location, on the local radio stations and people would herd themselves over there as if going to a parade, park, sit on top of their cars and enjoy the smoke.

Jail is not the answer, its usually easier to get it in jail, not to mention most drug addicts are not suited well for that environment with all those murderers and whatnot. Even though medical marijuana is legal in a state, it only makes it a "state law" federal law prohibits use of marijuana, therefore the federal government has the upperhand. So if you have a presciption for marijuana and you are caught, you will still be arrested since according to "federal law" marijuana is illegal, so the state law does not apply. stupid is what it is

Of course it's not going to be destroyed, it's going the same way it always has, the U.S. will sell it to Columbia and Mexico, they will in turn smuggle back in, so that Americans, Legal and Illegal can buy it at a premium, then the police can arrest those users, charge them fines (read as profit for state) for having controlled substance, that person goes to jail (another fee), then off to court (which again carries a fee), and then the ruling (yet again, another fee or worse, if your dealing, prison time). Now when the prison sentence is issued that's the real profit, tax payers then pay to house these so called criminals (can I smoke my lawn?) in the over crowded prisons. Then we pay the staff at these prisons to make these prisoners do their jobs, which we already pay them to do. it's just a viscous circle contrived through many years of corruption and stupidity.
THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!
