Most teenagers these days watch porn, and at the very least, engage in oral sex, if not full-blown sex. It's not that I endorse this or applaud, but it's reality. Kids grow up a lot faster these days, and with resources such as the internet, it's only made it easier for these young adults to explore their sexual curiousities. And if you think that the stuff they see online doesn't put a desire in them to go out and do it for real, you're mistaken. The internet was just coming out when I went thru adolescence, and I remember how crazy I went with it. And I wasn't alone, my peers, too, were doing it, and I have younger family members right now that are very open with me and they tell me what they see and do. A very small percentage of teenagers actually abstain from pornography and any type of sexual encounter. Let's face it, your avergage american loses his/her virginity before their 16th birthday this day and age. So I say, why dress this girl as the good, saintly girl that she isn't?
