Mimi's previous album, The Emancipation of Mimi, sold 10 million copies. By comparison, this latest one is a DISASTER.
Single numero 4 will be the song I'm That Chick, and it's being serviced to radio early in September.
Hopefully, Mimi and her people will start working on a new album ASAP!

That's pretty insignificant seeing that the song still hasn't hit the US top 40 yet. The Singles sales chart is pretty irrelevant, seeing that nobody buys singles anymore. Someone could easily sell 100 singles a week and make it on that chart. It's digital sales that make songs chart higher, not single sales.

As to legal itunes downloads, 4 Minutes sold over 2 million and counting while TMB hasn't reached 1 million yet.
E=MC2 sold big initially in the US because of heavy promotions including a Mariah week in American Idol, an appearance in Oprah, and loads of promo spots.. while Madonna's HC campaign was almost strictly web-based and ad tie-ins (Sunsilk, etc.)… But, let's be honest BOTH Madonna's and Mariah's albums tanked in the US.
As to Nana Mouskouri, her numbers are wildly fake and made-up and not vouched for by any legit organization. She is NOT known in the Americas, in Asia, in Australasia, in Africa; in fact, she was known mostly is some parts of Europe and countries with heavy Greek ancestry.
