Why are people so fucking shocked about the anti-gay shit? And why am I getting slack for supporting McCain and being a gay male? I don't believe in special gay rights. This fucking world was created with heterosexuality in mind. God created man and woman. Nothing wrong with being gay and living your life as you want to live it, lord knows I do. But why the fuck would I expect this country, or anyother for that matter, to make changes and "special" laws and rights simply because I choose to live my life the way that it wasn't originally designed for me to live? As a Christian, I still believe life wasn't meant for anyone to live as a gay/lesbian. I know none of us choose our sexual orientation or desires or feellings, but we DO choose whether we act upon them or not. I'm gay, 100% proud of it, and quite open about it to everyone in my life, but at the same time I don't believe in gay rights or any of that bullshit. It's a straight world and that's how God originally wanted it, at least from MY PERSONAL POINT OF VIEW. Since I'm the one choosing to go against the grain, by sucking dick and fuckin ass, I shouldn't sit here and expect the world to conform to my choices.

I think its a risky choice for McCain but could work out to be a brilliant one if she wins over the portion of conservatives he isn't reaching right now. And I have seen it everywhere. This hate starts when we think God created this or that. God wants us to be happy. If you are happy as a gay man, kudos for you, God won´t turn his back on you for it. So why should everybody else? Why can´t you have the legal right to marry your patner? I think this situation is quite delicate and has many points of views….I´m straight and I never consider marriage. But it´s nice to know I have that option. He one time cast a vote against a constitutional amendment, but never introduced or voted for any legislation that benefited gays. Palin, on the other hand, introduced, railroaded through, and signed into law equal benefits rights for gay couples.

This was a brilliant choice for McCain. Not only is she a member of feminist groups, but she also recently gave birth to child with down syndrome (an advocate for families with disabilities), she maintains independence from overspending, and independence for oil as well as being environmentally sound. She is relateable and likeable, and will most likely win a lot of the votes of people who are looking for someone like that. Everyone keeps making statements about canidates but does anyone actually research the facts?

The right to the same treatment heterosexuals receive isn't "special" rights, it's equal rights. Why should someone, homo or hetero, be denied the same human rights and civil liberties as their counterparts? It's a human rights issue, gays are not asking for anything special, they're asking for the same. It's a shame society has made you feel like being on an equal plane with straight people is something out of your reach or something you shouldn't strive for and expect.
In other news, if picking a woman VP is McCain's idea of coming across as "change" and someone who will win over Hillary voters, he's sadly mistaken. You deserve to have health insurance and offer it to your partner, you should be able to get tax cuts if you're married and with children, and you deserve to be able to get married and announce to the world who you chose as a mate just like straight people do, you should be able to get alimony or spousal support if you need it after a divorce or you should be able to provide that for your spouse if need be, you should be able to raise children single or married, and if you get divorced your kids should get child support from the father who chose to be part of these kids life just like you did. etc etc.
