The future composition of the U.S. Supreme Court is dependent on who is elected next. If McCain/Palin is elected, you can say goodbye to Roe v. Wade. If McCain/Palin is elected 47 million Americans will STILL be without health care. Such would be disasterous. Outlawing abortions won't stop abortions from happening. Let's learn from history and not allow women's health to be at risk. Regarding health care, ALL Americans should already have it. It's morally bankrupt to allow America's health care system continue on as it has in the past. Not to mention all you gay rights civil rights supporters (myself included in that group), McCain/Palin will do nothing to advance your cause.

This decision threw me off completely! She wasn't at the top of the list; anyhow, I don't think she is experience enough. She was a small town mayer before elected governor in 2006. The only other VP pick that inexperienced was Nixon's choice of Spiro Agnew and I'm not saying Watergate was his fault but he WAS the VP at the time. I just can't see Sarah Palin being capable of leading this country, as the #2 spot. And I'm not saying this to be mean to the mothers of the world, but the lady just had a baby who was born with down syndrome 4 months ago & I understand she doesn't want to keep away from her job, but I think attending to her newborn is something she should be doing, instead.
