McCain's V.P. Pick?????

He's wanting to make history too!
To his credit, John McCain is not a complete idiot, like George W. Bush.
The Republican Presidential hopeful is expected to announce his Vice Presidential pick today and, according to the Associated Press, all indications point to his choice being Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
This is clearly a move designed to lure Hillary Clinton's supporters.
And you know what???
It's a smart move, if true.
Damn him!

How is this "clearly a move designed to lure Hillary Clinton's supporters"? Maybe Sarah is exactly what he is looking for in a VP. Maybe she has qualifications that exceed other candidates. Or maybe he just thinks she will make an excellent VP. Just because he picks a woman doesn't mean that he is trying to pick up Billary supporters. If he were to pick an African American does that mean he is trying to pick up Obama supporters? Stop grasping at straws Perez. It's repulsive.

If Obama had picked a woman for his VP it would be "revolutionary" and OBVIOUSLY an attempt on his part to promote women's rights and equality in politics.
However, a Republican doing it is clearly a trick used to try and win female voters. Clearly.
I guess I can also add that Alaska would be interpreted as "too foreign" to some of the less-than-well-traveled McCain supporters — Hell, Los Angeles and NYC are foreign to them

Any woman that would vote for McCain based on his (possible) VP choice is a fool. And any woman who supported Hillary that now says she is going to vote for McCain is also a fool. McCain's platform is radically different to Hillary's. And oh yea, he wants to overturn Roe v. Wade.
