So, what does Team Barack think about John McCain's choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to be his Vice Presidential running mate.
Well, Obama's spokesperson, Bill Burton, says:
"Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency," Obama spokesman Bill Burton said in a statement.
Burton also criticized Palin as a vice presidential pick for her support of oil drilling in the Alaskan wilderness and her anti-abortion stance, referring to the 1973 Supreme Court decision that made abortion legal in the United States.
"Governor Palin shares John McCain's commitment to overturning Roe v. Wade, the agenda of Big Oil and continuing George Bush's failed economic policies. That's not the change we need, it's just more of the same," he said.

Yeah I'm definatly pro-choice and women who arn't pro-choice are just kinda weird in my opinion, but they really do need to drill in Alaska, I hope that goes through, I have a bunch of family that lives up there and all of the people want it to happen to bring more revenue to Alaska and also the fact that at the place they want to drill…there's nothing fucking there!

the state of alaska has a population of less than one million…..the CITY of chicago has a population of over 2.8 million. I realize that she has executive experience. But that is like comparing the CEO of a small local company to a CEO of a fortune 500 company.

Umm…she's been a mayor since 1992…been in "executive" positions. I think that counts. And they shouldn't insult mayor like that. Like he can talk, because he has all the foreign policy experience. Obama wants hold to hold N.Korea, Russia, & China and sing kum-ba-ya.
