I just watched two things on her, and read about her, and people seem to think McCain was smart in picking this women, that he did his homework. And, not for Clinton's votes either. She has more experience then I thought. BUT I yet have made my mind up. Still thinking away. But people should at least read more into her. She's involved in a lot of positive things.

Very few people in this day and age, Republicans included, would refuse to allow a gay person to visit his or her dying partner in the hospital, for example. But WRITING discrimination into the Constitution, state or national, is unprecedented. Sure, at one time slavery was the norm, but at no point was an amendment ever drawn up to pre-emptively deny rights to a certain group. It is perhaps the worst form of bigotry in our country's history. That's the whole truth.
