Kylie Minogue has just announced that she is also going on tour in South America this fall, in addition to Australia and New Zealand. She spent the summer traveling across Europe.
Thus far, she has no plans to play in North America.

Kylies were 100% sold out and she played to more people in the UK then Madonna is going to. Kylie had 7 sold out shows at O2 Arena which is a total of 125000 people. Madonna still has not sold out Wembly Stadium for 1 show which holds 90000. Madonna only bigger in the USA and by the way her latest HARD PORN cd sold it wont be too long before Madonna is finished in the USA. Kylies shows are much better as she does not pretend to be a politician and she is not a hypocrite! Lets see how much of Madoggas tour proceeds go to Malawi??? Madonna is a fucking dog! I saw Kyliex tour in June and it was bit dissapointing. Moreover I just saw Madonna's sticky and sweet show Thursday and was also dissapointed. I think both rely too much on technology and have too tight shcedule. No improvisation/connecting with the audience etc. happens.
I am afraid to admit but the best concert I have seen this year was Celine Dion's. I must be growing old.
Hmm…. well frankly - I think she's over-rated and slightly annoying. So… who cares?
Saw this show at Londons 02…was quite simply amazing. But i dont think you would get in in America. Its loaded with nostalgia and throwbacks to the old days of her career…for example her encores wont have any kind of same effect in America, which is a shame. But if she did take it to America one thing would work, her presence, it fills the stage because she is genuinely loving every second of it.
I think she would work in America. She has admited herself she isnt happy with the way her album was promoted her album, and all i see was a disastrous entry to the US…but i think its time you heard stuff like "wow" and "heart beat rock" on your radios. Something entirely new…her compnay played it too safe, which is just soooo boring.
She has lasted as long as Madonna ( i am going to see Madonna at wembley, and to be brutally honest, i dont like the theme of her new show. I fell in love with the confessions tour, and this one doesnt seem to have the spectacle of the last), and Madonna gets as much critiscm as Kylie so at the end of the day, Kylie is dammed if she does, and dammed if she doesnt, but im sure she has learnt along the way that everyones a critic…and the end of the day she has south america, and thats a start no?
