In response to this post we did earlier in the week, we just got this very troubling emails:
"Greetings…
Could you please delete our listing from your website, one of our volunteers thought that it might be a good idea to get the word out to people by being on this site , but after seeing the comments that we get and the disgusting stuff that you publish we are asking if you would kindly delete us from this site. Please confirm back to us that you have been able to do this for us. I believe that we just lost a $25,000 grant yesterday from and organization that was about to donate to our cause after they found out that we were on your site. Do you have any way of offsetting this loss for us?!

It's not you…your intentions were good. But I kind of understand their side. So many of your readers post awful, negative things in their comments. It's too bad…maybe you should disable comments on those types of posts?
Douches! They should give back all the donations they recieved THANKS to your post. Unfortunately kids will lose but it makes me want to spread the word about the douches that they are! Ungrateful charities suck! This guy probably just wanted to guilt you into sending the $25K!!! Douches!

That really sucks, but I hate to say it Perez, you don't exactly have the most loving or thoughtful people looking at your site. I doubt many, if any, people actually donated.

Don't let their reaction discourage you from continuing to support and provide links to charities. All people, no matter what their vices, can be good and contribute to charities. I am certain if they took a closer look at all their donors, they would see skeletons and questionable morals, but they happily took their money. This was a misguided decision by their CEO. If he truly understood how broad your range was and how many people you reach, he would certainly not have writted the letter. This post is coming from a middle aged mom of two who owns her own business is a practicing Catholic and enjoys giving time and tiding to charitable organizations. Guess he didn't want my money.

WELL……………it's the price you pay. You DO have a unique website that doesn't follow a strict code of morals and ethics (like TMZ or People). It's good in the sense that it isn't a prude's site and you actually speak your mind not giving two flying fucks about what others think (got that haters?)….but on the same token, you are taken too seriously either. I forgot to add, that any organization that would remove a grant from a charity because of savvy marketing on the part of one individual is completely flakey and I wouldn't want their money anyway. Shameful.
They are lying. Let them prove that they lost the donation. Sounds like a badly run organization trying to cash in.
do they know they lost that 25,000 grant because of your site? cause without proof, well they're losing traffic to their cause. oh well, too bad for them but mainly too bad for the children who lose out on the potential donations. i know i'm more likely to donate to someone other then them knowing they feel that way.

If people truly cared about the cause, they would not change their mind about a $25,000 donation just because the charity was advertised here. This site gets millions of hits. If they CARED about the kids, they would focus ON the kids, period. All the exposure here is a GOOD thing. That Executive Director is an idiot, asking Perez to offset the loss. This is absolutely ridiculous. Hasn't he heard that there's no such thing as bad publicity? You're helping them reach out to an audience they probably wouldn't be able to reach any other way. What an ungrateful snot. My favorite is when he says "Do you have any way of offsetting this loss for us?" as if it's your fault that some idiot decided to retract money. I think some people forget the purpose of starting foundations to help people in need.

I think that if the people who award grants make their decision based on the fact that this agency's information is posted on your website INSTEAD of on the merit of the agency, then maybe there is something fundamentally wrong w/ the whole grant process. Jesus people… lighten up.

They should have looked into your site before if they asked for a posting. And there are a lot of better, more essential organizations for children that could do plenty more with that $25,000. Good try, Perez! Not your fault! At least you're adding awareness for the needs of children!

You're heart has to be in the right place 100% of the time. If that were the case, you wouldn't be putting cum on celerbrity's faces or insulting the character of others. I completely agree with them. We're all not perfect, but you need to face what you allowed yourself to become. Just like you accept celebrities to dislike you- you should also understand being unwelcomed by charities.
